Lilo (A140931) is a 3-year-old AK Husky x Pointer mix who weighed 50 pounds on intake!01/22/26 These eager-to-go pups were surrendered to the shelter because their owner is facing some medical concerns and is unable to provide them with the lifestyle they need. They are working dogs and were said to be wonderful sled dogs! All these pups were stated to get along well with other dogs and are great pullers. They are accustomed to living out on a dog house but were said to have enjoyed coming inside during that super cold snap. However, they are not housebroken, and if you do plan on transitioning them to indoors, they will need help adjusting to indoor living â&#194&#128&#194&#147 potty training, kennel training, basic commands, etc. They know mushing commands but that is about it. They would love to join a rec team or even to become your adventure buddy if you live an active lifestyle â&#194&#128&#194&#147 skijoring, bikejoring, or even becoming your hiking buddy! Anything to keep them both mentally and physically stimulated so they stay out of trouble! If you are interested in meeting any of this crew or possibly the whole gang, please let us know! Kizik (A141060) is a 4-month-old Husky x Rottweiler mix available for adoption! 02/03/26 These adorable pups were surrendered to the shelter in hopes of finding their new places to call home! Their mom was stated to be a Rottweiler x Lab mix, and their dad was unknown (however, we suspect that their dad is a Husky x GSD mix). Puppies are a lot of work but worth the reward if you have the time to devote to them. They have been working on kennel training but will need continued help with all of their training â&#194&#128&#194&#147 kennel training, potty training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. They were described as very friendly puppies who have done well with people of all ages. They were also said to be playful with other dogs and to do well with the cat in the home. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new potential friends. These pups were known to chew, and are teething, so providing them with appropriate toys, so they do not chew on you, is important! Frozen kongs can be a great tool!
