Fizzy has a huge heart and he is a big lover but he has a little wild streak. We need to find him a loving home with a backyard. He is territorial like any dog especially around food. He has nipped and growled before when he feels uncomfortable. He’s a sweetheart but he needs space to run around and a caring loving best friend that understands him.

Story
9 months old and full of personality, Tokyo COH is a Pomsky with charm for days. She has that adorable, fluffy look with bright eyes that light up when she’s excited — and she gets excited often. Tokyo loves to play, especially with toys and balls. She’ll happily chase, carry them around proudly, and invite you into the fun. On leash, she has a bouncy, confident little walk — curious about the world but attentive to her person. She enjoys meeting people and has a friendly, engaging way about her that draws you in. She’s smart, alert, and expressive — the kind of dog who makes eye contact and feels very connected. Owner surrendered through no fault of her own, Tokyo is ready for a home that will keep her active, involved, and loved. Fun, affectionate, and full of life — Tokyo is ready to be someone’s little shadow and adventure buddy. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Our dog got pregnant and had 4 puppies, all of which we were able to rehome, except Zeke. I was reluctant to rehome him because he is very sweet and attached to me. Zeke was born on Nov 6, 2025, he is still fairly young. I hope to find him a family that will understand and love him. He is reactive to other dogs (barks but no bite), and someone that will give him a good daily routine. He has separation anxiety, and has been unable to potty in the indoor wee pad (very rarely has he done so) so he can do with more patience and training. Zeke is fast and loves walks/exercises. We love him very much. He will bark at first but softens up to sweetness and affection

Story
I've had Gigi for about 5 years after adopting her from my sister, who had her as a puppy in California. She's now around 5-6 years old and has lived with me in both Washington and California. Gigi travels very well and loves long car rides, especially when she can look for squirrels. She needs plenty of exercise and does great on hikes, long walks, and even running alongside a skateboard or bike. She has always lived with other dogs (large and small), cats, and children and does well with all. She was once attacked by another dog and needed stitches but fully recovered. She does need to be watched around trash, as she once ate something dangerous and required emergency surgery, which she also fully recovered from. Gigi is high energy but past the puppy stage, loves toys, and tug-of-war is her favorite. She needs a dedicated home that can give her proper exercise, structure, and lots of love.

Maya is a super sweet beautiful blue-eyed husky that needs a forever home. She is 45 pounds and very affectionate. She loves the beach, the dog park, and any place she can run free. She also loves to lay in the sun. She walks very nice on a leash. She is very good with children and other dogs. She would make a great pet for anyone! Maya is about seven years old, even though she looks like a juvenile. I adopted Maya previously, but now I need to move and cannot have 3 dogs. She needs a forever home. She would be great for any family or single person! She’s very manageable and small.

Luna is on the Call to Action list as we are evaluating her neck sensitivity. She has been biting at the leash when we try to get her out of her kennel, which restricts her handlers due to the possible safety concern if she accidently misses the leash. We`ve been trying to find a comfortable walking tool for her, but we know that kennel stress and frustration are likely playing a role in this behavior. Luna did come in with another dog, but she has shown fearful behavior in playgroup, and at this point she would likely be best as an only dog, or with a quiet/respectful friend. She is available for placement, so please come visit her during our open hours, or email animal.care@ventura.org for more information
