I am an affectionate, outgoing, and confident Husky / Australian Shepherd who is always up for a good time. My playful nature makes me a blast to be around, and my confidence means I'm always ready to tackle new adventures. I'm house-trained and will politely scratch at the door and whimper if I need to go out. I know a bunch of cool tricks like sit, stay, lay down, jump, gentle, shake, and high five, and I walk beautifully on a leash. I am also a fetch fanatic and loves nothing more than a day at the beach or sunbathing in the yard. I'm an energetic guy who needs plenty of exercise and space to explore, so I'm not the best fit for indoor-only living. I am an escape artist if I find a hole or gap in the fence, so a secure yard is a must. I am a pro at socializing with other dogs, making me the perfect playmate for any doggy friends I meet, but not a fan of cats. I am great with older children but young children are an unknown as I haven't been around any. And while I'm a total softie most of the time, I do have a bit of a 'no-no' attitude when it comes to nail trimming—so fair warning there! This might be something to consider with a professional groomer. I was surrendered by my previous owner but I'm ready to find my forever home with a family who can keep up with my active lifestyle and shower me with the love and attention I deserve.
