Story
Meet Cinnamon — A Soft Spirit with a Quiet Spark Cinnamon who is a spayed female Pomsky is the kind of dog who doesn’t demand attention… she draws you in. With her tender eyes and gentle, observant nature, she takes in the world thoughtfully, leaning in when she feels safe and offering the sweetest, most genuine affection. There’s a softness to her that feels both delicate and deeply sincere. At just one year old, Cinnamon was found in an abandoned house in Banning alongside her friends Sugar and Maxwell Smart, where they had been holding on since November 2025. Through uncertainty and change, Cinnamon stayed close to her little family, showing a quiet resilience and an unshakable bond with those she trusted most. She may be a bit shy at first, but give her a moment—and you’ll see her warmth unfold in the most beautiful way. The kind of love she gives feels earned, steady, and incredibly special. Cinnamon is ready for a home that will nurture her confidence, cherish her gentle heart, and show her that she’s safe forever. Tender. Thoughtful. Completely unforgettable. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Please find our application at lovejoyfoundation.org when you come to an event please bring that filled out in hand with you. You can find our application at Lovejoyfoundation.org. Please note a Petfinder and Adoptapet Inquiry is not applying for the dog. You have to come to the event or send an email inquiry to our records email.

Story
Our dog got pregnant and had 4 puppies, all of which we were able to rehome, except Zeke. I was reluctant to rehome him because he is very sweet and attached to me. Zeke was born on Nov 6, 2025, he is still fairly young. I hope to find him a family that will understand and love him. He is reactive to other dogs (barks but no bite), and someone that will give him a good daily routine. He has separation anxiety, and has been unable to potty in the indoor wee pad (very rarely has he done so) so he can do with more patience and training. Zeke is fast and loves walks/exercises. We love him very much. He will bark at first but softens up to sweetness and affection

Story
Iroh is a spunky 6 year old husky mix who may have been bounced around a bit from shelter to home to home, but he's never lost his spark of joy! He loves long walks, the beach, playing chase, and playing tug a war. He's the funniest hyper guy who's always down for a big adventure with an even bigger smile. Iroh's Story: I got Iroh in 2023 when he was three years old. He came from a family friend who had gotten him from a a rescue that saved him the day he was going to be put down in a kill shelter. That friend loved him to bits, but ended up as more of a foster family for him, as she wasn't in the position to fully commit to him. When she had to move out of state for college, I offered to pick up the mantle and foster him with the goal of seeing if I could adopt him. That hasn't worked out so well, but I am beyond happy to help Iroh find his forever home and am dedicated to helping him find the best one possible.

Story
Beso is a 5 year old and 8-pound Spaniel/Pomeranian mix. Her previous owner, who she had lived with her entire life, could no longer care for her and made the difficult decision to surrender her to Shelter Hope. Beso is a smart, sweet, and communicative little girl. As she continues to warm up, she's beginning to show her enthusiastic, affectionate personality. She's curious about the world around her but also carries a more mature, laid-back energy. She's perfectly content spending long stretches curled up in a cozy bed, just relaxing and enjoying her space. Being suddenly taken from the only home she had ever known has been an understandably hard adjustment for her, and she is still learning to trust new people and feel secure in new environments. Because of this, she can be protective of herself when she feels scared, but her loving side shines through with patience and understanding. She would do best in a calm, adult-only home with no other dogs or children. If you’re looking for a smart, low-key companion who will form a deep, loyal bond, Beso could be is your gal! Beso is spayed and ready to find her forever home. ---- Looking to Adopt? Step 1) Apply Online Submit a rescue questionnaire! Please be thorough in your answers.
