**Meet Dakota – A Sweet, Low-Key Girl Looking for Her Forever Home** Dakota is a female dog, approximately 5–6 years old, who showed up at our property as a stray and was never reclaimed. She was either abandoned or lost, but she has been safe and cared for while waiting for the right home. Dakota has a gentle, easygoing personality and seems to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. She is not cat friendly, so she will need a home without cats or other small animals. She has a calm nature and doesn’t seem to be highly driven to run or be overly active. In fact, she even learned to ride on the back of our quad rather than running alongside it, suggesting she prefers comfort over high energy activity. She appears to enjoy being pampered and likes attention from people she trusts. Dakota would likely thrive in a home that appreciates a calmer companion who enjoys affection and a slower pace of life. She is looking for a stable, loving home where she can be safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Story
Ragnar (Rags) is a senior dog, 10 years old, whose senior parents had to move out of the home. He is very loving and in need of a companion. He prefers his human to be home with him at often as possible. Rags is a large dog who is unaware of his or others personal space and would love to be a lap dog to anyone who can withstand it. He comes fully equipped with a home bark alarm system and will also let you know when it’s time to eat or he’s ready for a snack. Rags gets along with easy going dogs and has lived with a cat for the last 10 years. It is believed that Rags prefers female humans, but easily tolerated his last male human. Rags was adopted at age 3 so there is unknown history. Rags has been crate trained in the past, but has not been in one recently.
