TAKODA is an AGOUTI (wolf-colored) husky that was found laying in the middle of the street next to his dead friend who got hit by a car. He was raised on the streets and started off pretty wild/feral but has come a LONG way since coming to the rescue. He has learned household manners (such as not jumping on counters) and is very enthusiastic with his affection. He is desperate to come inside and be part of a family. This dog is energetic and somewhat assertive but not at all aggressive and listens well to boundaries set by other dogs... He would love another similar-sized dog to play with who is confident enough to become friends and a Person or family who is willing to train him. >> Experience with huskies preferred. Huskies are very smart and very vocal, although TAKODA only howls or yelps when he is being left in a kennel but really wants to be with his family. ***THIS DOG DOES NOT DO WELL WITH TINY DOGS such as chihuahuas due to the fact that he has been terrorized by groups of them in the past. ***He has also been known to be an ESCAPE ARTIST and will need an escape-proof yard or kennel at first, but once he is bonded with his family, he has no desire to go anywhere. TAKODA would also do well with a FOSTER home who can help continue to socialize and teach manners. Nova is a playful & loving puppy who has high energy and gets comfortable/attached to people quickly. She loves to play fetch with a ball and take naps after the zoomies. She is still in need of some training so please be patient and consistent with her. Nova is loving and an absolute beautiful dog with one black stripe following down her back & a tail with a white tip. Her eyes are still getting lighter as well! Nova does not have her shots so the price is negotiable. Other than that she is fully healthy & happy!
