Story
They call me Kyno. I don’t act like a stranger for long.I'm currently in California. My bags are packed, I’m ready to travel to my new home. Where are you? Are you my new family? I’ll travel to you! I’m a 5-year-old Siberian Husky with a soft cream coat, about 45 pounds. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and I’m already showing how much I enjoy being part of a home. I like people. Once I get to know you, I’ll come over, sit close, and lean into you like I belong there. I’m friendly, social, and I do great with other dogs. Walks are fun for me. I move around, take everything in, and I’m getting better at staying with you instead of doing my own thing. I’m still learning some basics. I’m getting into a consistent routine. I do best with structure and clear guidance, and I’m picking it up more each day. I’ve been doing better in my crate too. I stay quiet most of the night and settle when you’re away, though I’d rather be out and near you when you’re home. I’ve got that Husky brain. I notice everything. I like to explore. I’ll need someone who keeps an eye on doors and fences and helps me learn boundaries. I’m also working on things like jumping, waiting my turn, and not helping myself to whatever looks interesting. Here’s the good part. I’m eager. I want to learn. I want to be with my people. I respond to consistency and I’m going to do really well with someone who gives me direction and includes me in their life. If you’re looking for a dog who is friendly, active, and ready to learn, I’m already on my way. ##2698934##

Story
Handsome Hunter I have a story. But I promise it’s getting better. Not long ago I was running down a busy freeway in Southern California. Cars rushing past, loud noises everywhere. I didn’t know where to go. I just knew I had to keep moving. Some kind people were patient and careful and finally brought me to safety. That was the day my second chance started. When I first arrived, the world felt very big and confusing. I acted like I had never seen so many things before. Maybe I hadn’t. But the humans here were kind. They gave me time. They spoke softly. They let me learn at my own pace. Now I’m starting to understand that people can be good. I’m a thoughtful guy. I like to take my time getting comfortable, but once I do, my playful side comes out. I’m friendly with the people I meet and I really enjoy being around humans. Being part of someone’s life sounds like a pretty wonderful thing. Oh, and I should tell you something important. I LOVE food. Treats? Amazing. Snacks? Incredible. If you have treats, I will happily learn anything you want to teach me. I’m also learning how to walk on a leash and I’m getting better and better every day. I’ve seen other dogs around the kennel area and on walks nearby. I haven’t had a chance to live with one yet, but I’ve stayed calm around them. With slow introductions and patience, I could probably make some dog friends. What I really want is a family. A place where I can feel safe, where someone will show me how great life can be. Someone who understands that sometimes a dog just needs a little time to open his heart. I’m ready for that. Maybe you’re the person who will show me what home feels like. Will you please give him a safe space to land by fostering or adopting? He is a beautiful boy who deserves a loving home.    ##2511827##
