Story
We love Lucas so much, but unfortunately with new responsibilities and work it’s not fair for him. He needs someone who can provide the time he needs. It breaks our hearts. We just want a good home for him. He is 2 years old. So friendly. We have 5 and 6 year old kids. He rarely barks and does not howl on ocassions we have heard him. He does love to dig so that’s like the only thing that he does, he is trained so he will let you know when he needs to go outside.

Story
🐾 Meet Aspen! ❄️❤️ Aspen is one of those special dogs who seems to love absolutely everyone he meets — and everyone who meets him loves him right back! This adorable 4-year-old fluff ball is approximately 29 pounds, but he has a huge heart and the sweetest personality. Aspen was abandoned at a flea market in South Texas, and we simply couldn't leave him there. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now safe, but he deserves so much more than that. He deserves a forever family. 💙 Aspen is lovable, affectionate, funny, gentle, and incredibly sweet. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is incredibly adaptable. New situations don't seem to bother him — he takes things in stride and just wants to be around his people and doggy friends. He seems to be house trained and would do best in a medium-active home where he can enjoy walks, companionship, and plenty of cuddles. Aspen is believed to be a Samoyed mix, possibly with some Husky, and he is definitely a fluffy boy! His beautiful coat will require regular grooming. ☀️ One very important request: Aspen needs to get out of the Texas heat. We would love to see him placed in a cooler climate where he can enjoy cold weather and snow. ❄️ 🐶 Aspen's Details 4 years old Approximately 29 lbs Neutered Heartworm negative Up to date on vaccinations In very good health Great with other dogs Loving, affectionate, gentle & friendly Seems to be house trained Medium activity level Adaptable and easygoing Needs regular grooming Ready for a family of his own ❤️ After everything Aspen has already been through, he deserves a soft place to land and someone who will show him what it means to be truly loved. We can already picture him curled up beside his person, being the ultimate cuddle buddy and best friend. 🥰 Please consider fostering or adopting Aspen! He is such a wonderful little dog, and we'd love nothing more than to see him leave Texas behind and finally find the family he's been waiting for. 🏡 Aspen is ready. His forever family is out there. Please help us find them. ❤️🐾 Aspen is neutered, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. PLEASE READ BELOW: To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. Story
Meet Kaya, a beautiful 4 yr old adult female husky! Kaya weighs about 40 lbs.  Kaya is a very sweet, friendly girl who loves her people and enjoys making new friends - human and canine alike! She loves kids!. She has been good with cats. Kaya can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how she settles in before committing to adoption. From Kaya's current foster:  "Kaya is still learning to be a dog. She was kept outside and recently had a litter of puppies with her previous owner but is settling in well to her new life with her foster. She will need to be spayed when ready. She loves kids and and enjoys playing with other dogs. She's very sweet, gentle, docile, and smart. She is house and doggy door trained. She does not like anything resembling a tie out and needs a good outlet for her energy." She is medically up to date and house trained. Apply to meet this good girl today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2827235##

Story
Meet Dasher, a super cute 9 month old male husky mix puppy, currently weighing about 47 lbs! We are unsure of breed mix, but isn't he 100% adorable?!  He is expected to grow to a large dog. Dasher and his 8 siblings (the Reindeer litter) were sadly dumped at one of our rescue partners in TN when they were about 3 weeks old, without their mom. The man who dumped them stated that it was an oops litter and that he did not want to deal with them. Although he had a rough start, you would never know it! Dasher is a super sweet, friendly boy who is so full of love! He is good with other dogs, people, and kids (not cat tested so we are unsure how he would do with cats). From Dasher's foster: "Dasher is winning over hearts everywhere he goes, we’re amazed we’ve even had had him for this long. His demeanor has changed so much since we got him 3.5 months ago. He’s spunky and loves to play, but is also happy snuggling up next to you on the couch and getting some belly rubs! This heatwave has been a shock for him, but he loves to keep cool with a tasty ice cube or two. He’s incredibly smart and we think a great fit for any home that can give him the exercise and play he needs but also a comfy place to lay his head." He is medically up to date (awaiting neuter appointment now that he is old enough), crate trained, and housebroken. Apply to meet Dasher today! Story
Meet Dancer, a super cute 9 month old female husky mix puppy, currently weighing about 35 lbs! We are unsure of breed mix, but isn't she 100% adorable?!  We expect her to grow to a medium sized dog. Dancer and her 8 siblings (the Reindeer litter) were sadly dumped at one of our rescue partners in TN when they were about 3 weeks old, without their mom. The man who dumped them stated that it was an oops litter and that he did not want to deal with them. Although she had a rough start, you would never know it! Dancer is a super sweet lovebug who bonds closely with her people. From Dancer: " About MeHi there! I’m a young husky mix on the lookout for my forever family. I might be a little shy at first—I just need a bit of time to warm up, look around, and learn to trust you. But let me tell you a secret: once I know I’m safe and I give you my heart, I am yours completely. I will become your most loyal, sweet, and lovable companion, and your absolute best friend for life! Personality: Loyal, sweet, lovable, and super smart! My Perfect DaySnuggle Time: I am a total cuddle bug. There is nothing better than curling up close to my favorite humans for some serious couch snuggles. Playtime: I’ve got that fun puppy energy! I am incredibly playful and absolutely love other dogs, so if you have a canine sibling for me to romp around with, that would be amazing! Learning & Treats: Did someone say treats? I am highly food-motivated and super smart, which makes training a blast. My Skills & Current ClassesI'm already a good girl who takes correction well, and I'm working hard every day to be the best dog I can be: House Training: I am already pee-pad trained and am currently working hard on my outdoor housebreaking. Leash Manners: I’m practicing my leash skills so we can go on wonderful walks together soon. If you have a little patience to help me build my confidence, I promise to reward you with a lifetime of unconditional love, playful antics, and the best snuggles you could ever ask for!" She is medically up to date (awaiting spay appointment now that she is old enough), crate trained, and mostly housebroken. Apply to meet Dancer today!
