Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! Sadie is 6 years old and 13 pounds, she was surrendered by her owners because the owner travels with her job and could not take care of them.  Sadie was found on the streets with her companion Ginger who is also available for adoption.  Their original owner had rehomed them to someone who let them on the streets along with an 11 year old male chihuahua who is also available for adoption. Both have been spayed, heartworm tested negative, vaccinated and rabies and in good health.  They get along with other dogs and love to be loved on. I am posting pictures of them before and after they visited the groomer. If you are interested in adopting Sadie or Ginger please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         November 7, 2024, 5:10 am

Story
Bear was surrendered when his owner was evicted with his chihuahua fur brother. He was quite frightened at first but has come out of his shell and doing well. He loves to walk on a leash and has finally gotten used to potty breaks off leash in the fenced yard. He has been completely vetted now. He did wear a belly band in the beginning until after he was neutered to stop marking. He is now on the lookout for stability and his very own forever home. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application

Story
Meet Zander. This poor, innocent, little boy was brought to our rescue last night by a good samaritan. Bounced around to several different unsuitable situations, this poor little one is a bit scared and confused. Zander once belonged to a homeless person. He was surrendered because he was not allowed to be brought into the homeless shelter. He bounced around to a few homes after that until he landed on his feet with us. He is a sweet, adorable little dog, but needs some patience and love. He can act a tad snarly if you startle him or try to do something that he doesn’t understand. But we see a huge difference already in just one day of stability. He is cute as a button and very friendly if you just go slow with him. We would not recommend any small children because of his insecurities. Zander is approximately three year-old. He is a male Pomeranian. Zander is completely vetted, including heart worm, snap test negative, microchipped, rabies, and distemper vaccinated and neutered. He weighs approximately 7 pounds. Please visit our website at https://sites.google.com/view/muddymoosemutts/home or email pawrescued2016@gmail.com for an application. His adoption fee is $525.

Story
Dexter is a 5-6 lb, 4 year old, friendly little Pomeranian. He gets along great with other dogs, loves people, and is fun & curious. He has lived with several other small dogs and has been a loved family member but was surrendered because his person was no longer able to care for him. He is adjusting well to his foster home and finishing up all of his vetting. Due to his size he would enjoy a home with kids that are old enough to be careful with him so he isn't accidentally injured. He was just groomed so we have included pictures of the before and after so you can see what he looks like currently as well as in his former big haired glory! If you'd like to add this pint sized pup to your household, we'd love to hear from you! Dexter is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling!
