He is house-trained, very intelligent, well-behaved, and knows his manners. He’s an easygoing dog who enjoys being with people.Kiba would do best as the only dog in the home, as he doesn’t get along well with other dogs. However, he has lived with cats successfully.We’re looking for a loving, stable home where he’ll be a valued member of the family. If you think Kiba might be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you and answer any questions.

Meet Nemo, a fun-sized Husky mix with a big personality and even bigger energy! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 7/15, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. This athletic boy is always ready for his next adventure and walks fairly well on leash. He's attentive, knows how to sit on command, and has an incredibly soft coat that's hard to resist. Like many Huskies, Nemo thrives when he has plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If he gets bored, he'll happily invent his own adventures—so an active family willing to keep him busy will be the perfect match. He could also use a little help polishing his manners, but he's eager to learn and has all the makings of an amazing companion. If you're looking for an energetic best friend to join your family, Nemo is ready to go! Nemo is approximately 1 year old and weighs 34 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Nemo in kennel 801; his ID # is 20830. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Pepe is a Miniature Aussie/Pomeranian mix and is 13 years old. I have had him since he was a puppy. He is house trained and generally well-behaved. I work full-time, am pregnant, and have a toddler. We have no family near us. Pepe is not getting the attention he needs at this point in his life, so looking for potential re-homing.

Hello, this is Mowgli! He is a 20 year old Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix. He has been in our family for about 15 years, however, we now are very busy and don't have the time we need to take care of him anymore. Especially now that he's very old with arthritis and not potty trained. He spends his entire day in one of our bathrooms because he can't control his bladder or bowels and we are usually always at work. Despite his age, Mowgli has a very resilient spirit. He still loves to eat and accepts any and all affection. He needs a loving, caring home that will give him the attention, affection and care that he needs during the last few years of his life.
