Story
King is a 7‑year‑old husky with a striking, handsome look and an even sweeter heart to match. He loves affection—truly loves it—and lights up around people. King thrives on human attention and would make a wonderfully loyal, gentle, and deeply devoted companion.
King has done well with other dogs, but because of his high prey drive, he will need a home without small animals, including farm animals. He has been good with kids, though a home with older children is recommended. At his core, King is kind, gentle, and an all‑around good boy.
Like many huskies, King is an adventurer. He’s a known escape artist with a strong desire to roam, so he will require a very secure, fenced‑in yard and a family committed to supervising him whenever he’s outside. If left unattended, he may try to dig or find a way to explore beyond the yard. Keeping him safe will take diligence, but the reward is an incredibly loving, affectionate dog who bonds deeply with his people.
King is housetrained, has good manners, and would do best with an experienced owner familiar with the husky breed—their energy, intelligence, and unique quirks. With structure, security, and plenty of love, King will absolutely shine.
He weighs about 60 lbs, is approximately 7 years old (estimated birthdate 01/29/2019), and his adoption fee is $315. King is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives.
