Story
Remy wakes up every morning ready for the best day ever. Energetic, enthusiastic, sweet and affectionate, this 10-month-old, 21# Pomeranian and Border Collie mix (plus a sprinkling of a few other breeds) is packed with personality, charm, and an endless zest for life. He's looking for a fun-loving, active home where his personality and energy will fit right in.
Whether heading out on a neighborhood walk, exploring a new park, or hanging out with his favorite people, Remy approaches everything with curiosity and joy. He's wonderfully social, taking new places, new people, and new dogs in stride. Kitties? No problem - he happily shares his foster home with cats.
Like any growing puppy, Remy is polishing his manners. He's working on four paws on the ground, settle quietly in his crate, and picking up basic obedience skills. He's eager to learn, especially when there's praise involved... even better if string cheese is involved! He sleeps and eats in his crate, is potty trained on a schedule, and absolutely loves going for leash walks.
When playtime rolls around, Remy is all in. Tennis balls, rubber squeaky toys, and Nyla Bones top his list of favorites. He wants daily walks to stay healthy and lots of play time. He is an energetic youngster with a nice off-switch, settling nicely in the house after an active day.
Remy's ideal family will enjoy getting out for adventures with their 4-legged companion. He would be thrilled with a fenced yard and is also a candidate for families that know how to keep dogs safe on leash. He would adore a playful canine sibling or could happily be an only dog. Dog-savvy older children who understand how to respectfully interact with a busy young pup could be a good fit.

His adoption fee is $450 + MN sales tax. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. Upon adoption, all of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in the greater Minneapolis, Minnesota area.
