***Loki is housed over at the Rochester Animal Control facility. In order to meet him you need to submit an adoption application first. These can be found on the homepage of our online website. Once an application is submitted - a staff member will reach out with next steps. Please note it can take up to 48 hours to hear back based on when the application is submitted.***Meet Loki!This stunning boy wound up at the Rochester Animal control when he needed somewhere safe to go. He was found as a stray and unfortunately no one ever came to claim him. Loki is estimated to be about 1.5 years old and he is thought to be some sort of husky mix. While we don`t know what his exact breed mix is - we do know that he is the handomest boy around!Loki is a medium sized fella and only weighs 33 pounds. Loki can be a little nervous in new situations but once he is comfortable, his happy and goofy personality starts to shine through! If you are looking for an adventure buddy in a compact size, Loki might just be your guy! Apply online today!

Meet Feta! Feta is a beautiful 5-year-old Siberian Husky (the age is a guess but she acts like she's 2) with a resilient spirit and a heart full of love. After spending more than a week surviving on her own, she was finally brought to safety and has been thriving ever since. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and heartworm negative, so she's ready to find a family to call her own. Feta enjoys the company of respectful children and has done well around other dogs. She is not aggressive toward canine companions. She appears to be housebroken when kept on a consistent schedule and has some basic training already in place. She will chase cats. Like many Huskies, Feta is an active, intelligent dog who will do best with a family committed to providing regular exercise, enrichment, and continued training. In return, you'll gain a loyal, fun-loving companion who is ready for her next adventure. If you're looking for a sweet, resilient Husky who deserves a second chance, Feta may be the perfect addition to your family!

Meet River! River is a neutered male husky who is a little over four years old. He is on the bigger end for a husky but appears to be at a healthy, appropriate weight. River can only see out of his right eye—and it is a beautiful blue eye full of alertness and intelligence. River is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and well behaved. He loves being close to his people and is definitely a cuddler. He enjoys attention and may gently paw at you when he decides he would like a little more. He has done well with both dogs and cats in his foster home. He enjoys wrestling and playing with the other dogs while still keeping his play gentle. River also appears to be crate trained and settles quietly in his crate. That being said, we recommend that his next home not have shared walls. River has one healthy, working eye, but it does not stop him from enjoying life, playing, exploring, or loving his people. Like many huskies, River occasionally likes to talk and may try to run if given the opportunity, so his future family will need to keep his harness secure and provide a safely fenced yard. Overall, though, River is on the quieter end for a husky. River will be a wonderful companion for a family looking for a sweet, loyal, affectionate, and loving husky!
