Story
Cillian is a young husky who embodies everything people love about the breed. Full of energy and spunk, he’s always ready for his next adventure, whether that’s a long walk, a hike, or a trip to your favorite hang out. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep up with an active lifestyle, Cillian is your guy. True to his husky roots, Cillian is an independent guy around 28 lbs who loves to be on the move. At the farm, always exploring and sneaks in a little mischief from time to time. He plays hard and brings a fun, goofy energy wherever he goes. He’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh with his antics, and will do well in a home that understands his breed. When he’s gotten his energy out, Cillian is happy to hang out and be part of the action, soaking up attention before gearing up for his next round of fun. **Hiking feedback: " Cillian was great to hike with.  He was pretty well focused although he did like to stop occasionally and sniff things out.  Cillian is a very affectionate dog and at water breaks loves to give kisses.  Hope he finds a great home.  I would love to hike with him again.  Great experience"! **Additional feedback: " On breaks he would sit and lay down to rest but was always ready to get up and keep moving. He definitely likes his exercise and smelling the world around him".  **Cillian was the absolute best hiking pup! He had such a calm demeanor and didn’t pull at all the entire time! He would stop here and there for sniffs but was happy to keep strolling along. He was friendly with the other dogs and loved the attention from the people, especially anyone with a treat! Hiking with him was such a fun, relaxing experience.  *Sleepover Feedback: "Cillian adores people. He’s all about meeting new people and snuggling up to give them kisses. He’s very smart and remembers the houses of people he has met while out walking. He played with men, women and kids. Cillian will play with other dogs and when I tell him to stay next to me when we approach other dogs on our walk he is a good boy and either stands or sits quietly next to me until I tell him ‘lets go’ and praise him for being a good boy. He is very good at leash walking. He pauses and alerts if he hears something/someone behind us. Cillian is ok in the car, but I think he would rather skip it. He barks quite a bit when the car is in motion. He did calm down eventually. He is potty trained. No accidents in the house. Cillian slept all night in his crate on the orthopedic dog pad. He will go in the crate with a little coaxing. Cillian is a laid back guy who likes to have fun and is always up for a walk, rain or shine. He likes sunning himself on the lawn. Cuddling and kissing people is his favorite activity. He will play with toys, but prefers people!" *Additional Sleepover notes: " Cillian took to downtown life very well, being brave on the elevator and on balcony. He was also my big strong protector against the mean vacuum cleaner. I think he could thrive in a home downtown so long as they are committed to his exercise and outdoor activities. He was a very popular guest at the downtown patios for lunch and happy hour, acting respectfully and showering patrons with kisses and cuddles.

Story
Meet Coco, a spirited Husky teen with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This playful girl is full of energy and curiosity, always ready for her next adventure. Coco absolutely loves belly rubs, playing with her favorite stuffed toys, and chewing on bones. She’s also great at playing fetch with balls and will happily chase and bring them back for another round. When she’s not busy playing, you’ll often find her happily rolling around in the grass or soaking up the sunshine. Coco is a smart pup who is currently working on potty training, crate training, and leash training. She is a regular member of the hiking team and loves being on the move. Coco would do best with an active family who knows about engaging a dog's body and mind. She would do best in a home where she can be the lady in charge. She has learned tons about crate training and is ready to venture on to a furever fun furever life! *Sleepover feedback: " Miss Coco is an absolute DREAM—truly the perfect balance of sweetheart and firecracker! For a 7-month-old puppy, she is incredibly smart, well-mannered, and observant. Even strangers on the trail couldn't help but stop and comment on how bright and beautifully tuned-in she is to the world around her. She loves to snuggle up on pillows, love on her people, and give plenty of kisses. She has a wonderful "off-switch" too; she is always ready play and be active, but she is completely content to find her own space and settle down. Coco was amazing with my 86-pound, 2-year-old male Malinois/Pyrenees mix, despite only being 25 pounds. She really gave him a run for his money; they got along instantly, and they happily played for hours throughout the weekend. **Hiking feedback: " My favorite thing about hiking with Coco was how naturally she looked after everyone. Even while confidently leading the pack, she would constantly glance back to make sure I was still following. She also kept one ear turned toward the hikers and dogs behind us, almost as if she was making sure the whole group was together.

Story
If you’re looking for a daily dose of personality, humor, and handsome good looks, Mendel is ready to deliver! This young adult shepherd, husky mix is packed full of classic husky charm — smart, expressive, vocal when he has an opinion, and just the right amount of sass to keep life entertaining. Mendel is a 47lb, strong, active boy who enjoys getting out for walks and adventure. He has enjoyed being out on the trail for our weekend hikes and is doing well with his leash manners. This is a young man made for young living and absolutely needs his people to engage in physically as well as mentally to be happiest. Like many huskies, Mendel is social and enjoys being around other dogs. He’s always interested in what’s going on around him and would love a home that appreciates his playful spirit and big personality. Behind the confident husky attitude is a fun-loving companion who’s ready to make people laugh and keep life interesting. If you’re looking for a dog with brains, beauty, and a little bit of hilarious husky drama, Mendel may just be your perfect match! *Sleepover feedback: "He will run with you if you like to go on jogs or walk with you if that's what you prefer. Does well on car rides; like the window down a bit. Seems to be house trained. He loves belly rubs and all the love. *Additional Feedback: "Had a really nice weekend with Mendel. No dog living in the house and when we would see on our walks, he would bark but did not seem to mean any harm. Leash skills can use a little help. He will sometimes pull, but also will run with you if you like to go on jogs or walk with you if that's what you prefer. He likes riding in the car with the windows down Mendel did very well with using the restroom outside. He seems to be potty trained. *"We loved having Mendel this weekend! He definitely has a lot of energy, but we enjoyed taking him for lots of walks and playing with toys. He does pull on the leash and get distracted easily, but he responds well to correction and moves on nicely. Mendel also has a special talent for throwing the ball for himself and playing keep away with his toys, he’s pretty entertaining! After lots of playing, he would settle down and sleep right under my feet.
