Story
Meet Mokey! Mokey is 9 months old pup with typical puppy energy! She loves to run, run, run! Mokey would do great with a fenced in yard or with a family who is active and would want a running or hiking partner. Mokey is very eager to learn! She is working on potty training, she is crate trained and knows how to sit, especially when having her leash put on and taken off. Mokey hasn't met a person she doesn't like. She loves other dogs too (maybe too much), and she's cat friendly. She is curious about cats, and she wants to play with them and does follow them around, but she has shown no aggression, just playful inquisitiveness. Mokey exhibits no signs of resource guarding and does great being held for nail trims. Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Raven is a great dog, she and her brother beast turned 1 on May 6th 2025. She can be timid at first. But only wants love. She loves to play fetch, run, and likes to cuddle. We are looking for someone that would be able to take her and her brother Beast that is on here as well together.

Update: Ghost has an adoption pending! Ghost had a trial adoption, but it did not work out. He needs a fenced in yard to run and play. Ghost is approximately 2 years old. He is a beautiful Siberian Husky weighing 40 lbs. Ghost was found as a stray. Love-A-Stray had him neutered, vaccinated and microchipped at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic. Ghost's foster said he is really a wonderful dog! He is housebroken and knows a few basic commands. His foster has offered to take Ghost to obedience training. He is dog friendly, but cats are unknown, so a cat-less home is best. Ghost has dark ice-blue eyes, and he often looks like he is smiling when taking a walk--he LOVES to go for trail walks and does well on lead. Ghost also loves to ride in the car. He is a pleaser and thrives on praise and is very trainable. We always suggest adopters are familiar with the Husky. A fenced in yard is a must for this active breed and a really good vacuum cleaner since they do shed LOL. If you are interested in Ghost, please submit an online application so we can learn a little about you to make sure Ghost would be a good match for you and your family. We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process.
