Meet Mokey! Mokey is 9 months old pup with typical puppy energy! She loves to run, run, run! Mokey would do great with a fenced in yard or with a family who is active and would want a running or hiking partner. Mokey is very eager to learn! She is working on potty training, she is crate trained and knows how to sit, especially when having her leash put on and taken off. Mokey hasn't met a person she doesn't like. She loves other dogs too (maybe too much), and she's cat friendly. She is curious about cats, and she wants to play with them and does follow them around, but she has shown no aggression, just playful inquisitiveness. Mokey exhibits no signs of resource guarding and does great being held for nail trims. Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Nanook here! I’m a one-year-old floofy gentleman ready to strut my fluff straight into my forever home. And yes… I know I’m handsome. It’s exhausting being this good-looking. Let’s get one thing straight — I am every bit the husky you’d expect: Energetic? Absolutely. A little stubborn? Occasionally. Cuddly? On my terms, obviously. Talkative? You bet. Smart? Smarter than I let on. And since we’re being honest… I’m not a beginner dog. Huskies are a working breed, which means we need structure, consistency, exercise, and mental stimulation. We can test boundaries, and if we get bored… well, we tend to invent our own fun (your shoes may not survive). In the right home though? We’re loyal, hilarious, adventurous companions. Someone familiar with huskies or other high-energy breeds would be my perfect match. I was found as a stray on one of those bitter cold days, but now I’m warm, safe, and ready for my next chapter. I love playing with other dogs, take cues well, know “sit,” and I’m doing pretty decent on leash. We’re still unsure how I feel about cats. If you want a smart, playful, ridiculously handsome sidekick who’ll keep life interesting — I’m your guy.
