Story
Meet Milo Age: 2 yearsBreed: Husky MixStatus: Professional optimist. Amateur listener. Some dogs strive to be the smartest dog in the room. Milo strives to be the happiest... and honestly, he`s winning.Milo is a two-year-old Husky mix with a permanent smile, a heart full of love, and just enough Husky stubbornness to keep you humble. Every day is an adventure in his eyes, whether it`s meeting a new friend, chasing a toy, or sniffing something that absolutely cannot wait. One thing is certain, Milo loves people. Men, women, visitors... they`re all potential best friends. He`ll happily greet new faces with his signature `please love me` ears and, if you`re lucky, he`ll sneak in a kiss before you know what happened. While he`s affectionate, he still has that independent Husky streak. Cuddles happen when he decides it`s time, and honestly, they`re worth the wait.Now... about training.Milo is fully aware that obedience is a thing. He`s just not convinced it`s for him.Ask for a sit? He might suddenly become fascinated by a blade of grass. Call him to come inside? If he`s having fun, you`ve unknowingly entered the game `Good Luck Catching Me.` Rain, snow, sunshine it doesn`t matter. Milo thinks it`s hilarious.Thankfully, Mother Nature helps us out because he`s heat-sensitive. Once it`s hot outside, even Milo agrees it`s time for a break. With the right equipment, Milo is a pleasure to walk, but he`s a strong young dog who can pull if something catches his attention. He also has a healthy prey drive, so a home without cats or other small animals would be best. He`s generally friendly around other dogs and approaches female dogs politely, but if another dog becomes reactive, Milo can get caught up in the excitement. Like any dog, thoughtful introductions are the key to success. One of the cutest things about Milo has been watching him discover toys. He`s recently realized they`re actually pretty fun, and giggle balls and noisy toys have quickly become his latest obsession.Meal time? Zero complaints. Milo is an excellent eater, happily finishes every meal, enjoys food puzzles and enrichment, and has shown no resource guarding with people.Milo is looking for an active home that appreciates a dog with a big personality. He won`t be the perfectly polished obedience champion but he will be the dog that makes you laugh every single day.Milo at a Glance Loves
