We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! We do not recommend her for a home with kids. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Sapphire is Looking For: Her forever home! Sapphire is an awesome girl in her prime as an adult, all about being by her humans' side for all those adventures. Sniffy walks, leisurely strolls in parks, world exploration - yes, please! Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed would be great too, but you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to know she's safe and loved. She promises so many adoring gazes, so much love and loyalty in return. What do you say? Is she the companion you have been seeking? What My Foster Says About Me: Sapphire has settled in nicely! She is such a sweet girl. She loooves peanut butter and, although she will accept other food if she must, she prefers her meals be warmed up chicken. She says, 'it's my golden years I must be treated accordingly!' She's done well living with both my dogs and cats. She is going to be such a great addition to a family that wants to spoil her and treat her as the queen she is :) Adapted quickly and gets along with my household cat and dog. She is a sweet girl with lots of love to give. Don’t let her fool you, she likes to walk like an old lady, but gets the zoomies as if she were a 3yo pup again. After a day of adventures and sniffy walks, she will then sleep like it were an Olympic sport. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
