Story
Bandit is my 6-month-old Pomsky and truly an incredible dog. He's healthy, extremely loving, intelligent, playful, and absolutely loves people. He's full of personality, eager to learn, and brings joy everywhere he goes. He's crate trained, house trained, knows basic commands, and is continuing to learn. Like any puppy, he still needs guidance with things like loose leash walking and greeting people politely, but he learns quickly and responds very well to positive training. The only reason I'm looking for a new home is because my demanding and unpredictable work schedule no longer allows me to give him the time and consistency he deserves. This decision has nothing to do with Bandit—he has been an amazing dog. I'm looking for an active individual or family who will make him part of their lives and continue giving him the love, exercise, training, and attention he deserves. I will be very selective. My goal is not to find the first home—it's to find the right home

Story
Meet Davis. Davis is one of three dogs we rescued from a backyard breeding situation, where he was living in poor conditions with very little human interaction and no veterinary care. It was clear he was long overdue for medical care. He had painful glaucoma in one eye that required surgical removal and was also missing part of his lower lip from a prior trauma. Since coming into rescue, he's been neutered, received a thorough dental cleaning, and enjoyed a much-needed grooming. He's feeling so much better, looking handsome, and finally getting the care and second chance he deserves. When Davis first arrived in foster care, he was understandably anxious. He paced constantly, struggled to relax, and didn't trust people. While he formed a bond with his foster dad, he remained fearful of others and needed time, structure, and a change of environment to truly decompress. He also had to learn the basics, like walking on a leash, so he could safely experience the world around him. Today, Davis is acclimating well to his local foster home, living with three other small dogs and his foster parents. He's learning what it means to be part of a loving family, getting comfortable on leash walks, and continuing to build his confidence. While he's still a little timid in new situations, the difference is remarkable. Every day, Davis becomes more comfortable, more trusting, and more ready to meet his forever family. Davis is crate trained, house trained, and getting more confident on leash. He thrives on a consistent routine with regular potty breaks and has no accidents in his crate, showing he's relearned to keep his space clean. He'll do best with a structured introduction to his new home and a gradual transition to full roam privileges. Davis is still building confidence outside the home. He's been to the vet, the groomer, and pet stores, and while those experiences were scary for him, he handled them well and continued to move forward. He really needs time to build trust with his person, and that relationship gives him the confidence to navigate new situations. With patience, consistency, and continued positive exposure, we expect his confidence in new environments to keep growing. Despite everything he's been through, Davis is a resilient little guy who enjoys being petted and is learning that home life can be wonderful. He will thrive with a patient adopter in a calm home who can provide structure and continue building his confidence. He's incredibly sweet and has the cutest little prance you've ever seen.
