ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13400Meet Kramer, a 4 year old, 55lb Siberian Husky mix who is currently being fostered in Richmond Virginia. If you are looking for an energetic, engaging and goofy companion, Kramer is your guy. Kramer arrived at his current foster home in February. Being such a high energy breed means that he needs at least 1-2 hours of exercise/mental stimulation a day. He loves to explore the yard, play fetch and chase the flirt pole. Kramer is in the process of learning how to play/behave appropriately with other dogs and people. His worst offenses are mouthing, jumping on people, chewing blankets and inappropriate behavior towards the female resident dog. All these behaviors are currently being worked on with his foster parents and progress is being made!Inside the house, Kramer needs to be separated from the resident dog to avoid rough playing/mounting. Though he will sometimes protest, Kramer does very well in the crate and can be easily distracted with a peanut butter Kong if he is getting whiny. He is completely potty trained and does not have accidents in the house. Kramer is working on his walk etiquette, as he has habit of pulling on the leash. While Kramer does have some areas to work on (don't we all), when it comes down to it he is a wonderful dog to have around. He is curious about everything and loves a good belly rub or snuggle. He would do best in a home without children and plenty of space to exercise. If you are interested in adopting Kramer please apply today!
