Hi, I’m Jeff! I’m a fiveyearold Standard Poodle weighing 68 pounds of personality. I’m a playful, affectionate guy who loves being close to my people, handing out kisses and soaking up attention. I’m looking for a forever home where I can be the center of someone’s world and until then, I’d be a wonderful guest if you’re open to fostering me! Favorite Things: Jeff is a cheese enthusiast and adores spending time with his favorite humans. Toys aren’t his top priority, but he’s goofy, clever and loves to interact; sometimes even playfully mouthing your hand. Training & Manners: Jeff is housetrained when let out regularly and sleeps soundly in a secure area at night. He’s still learning leash skills and polishing basic manners, so a patient adopter who enjoys guiding a smart dog will be a great fit. He rides calmly in the car and his foodmotivation makes training rewarding. Health & Care: Jeff is heartworm positive and had a tumor on his chest that was removed by our veterinary partners. During treatment, he’ll need calm routines and short leash walks. His adoption fee covers the cost of care. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Following his heartworm treatment, he’ll need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Jeff will need regular brushing and professional grooming to look and feel his best. Other Animals: Jeff bonds deeply with his favorite people so he’ll need to be the only pet in the home. Children: Jeff does not have experience with children at this point Ideal Home: Jeff will do best in a singlefamily home with a secure, fenced yard. He’s happiest with someone who is home more often then not, as he loves companionship and may bark when left alone for long periods. Hi, I’m Curly! I’m a handsome two-year-old Poodle boy who loves to be in the middle of things, whether it’s play time with other small dogs or quiet time on your lap. I weigh 14.6 pounds and I come wrapped in enthusiasm, confidence and affection. Favorite Things: Curly loves connecting with people and other dogs. He also enjoys food (passionately!), neighborhood walks, and close proximity to his humans, especially the cuddly kind. He is underwhelmed with toys – for now, he can take them or leave them. Training & Manners: Curly is house trained when let out regularly. He walks well on a leash and loves a car ride. His new family will need to continue his training on basic commands and house manners but he’s a smart boy and food-motivated – two plus marks for training! He sleeps soundly in his dog bed at night but would be just as happy in the people bed. Health & Care: Curly is neutered, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and just had a dental cleaning. He’ll just need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. This handsome guy will also need regular brushing and professional grooming every 6 -8 weeks to look and feel his best. Other Animals: Curly has experience with other small dogs, especially the playful kind. He has not yet been tested with cats, but his foster mom thinks he would be fine with them. Children: This sweet, playful boy is good with kids of all ages. Ideal Home: Curly can be quite vocal when left home alone but if there are other dogs in the house, he’s happy. He should be fine in an apartment, townhome, condo, or single-family home, especially if he has some canine company. He can be left alone in the home for a few hours in a secure space without any issues. Overall: If you’re looking for a happy, loving pooch to add to your family, Curly might be the one for you.
