He loves toys but doesn`t play fetch unless he`s in the right mood for it. He knows basic commands but will need more leash training. Smokey has perfect eyeliner on and a cute short snout. He is a sweet, loving, loyal, energetic little baby and is looking for his forever home.

Chunk is handsome chunkydunk of a pup who was brought to the shelter by a very kind person. They told us that Chunk is extremely sweet, loves people, and will happily climb into your lap for a cuddle. He also seemed to do well with cats! Here’s what one friend at the shelter said:“Chunk is a real sweetie. He is easy to leash and unleash and is a very easy walker. He likes to do some sniffing, sits for treats and takes them gently.”Chunk has a mass on his leg that needs to be removed. He would love to find a foster home where he can recover. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask about Chunk today!!

Who likes their ladies stocky and with a low center of gravity?? Maybe a better question is… who doesn’t?! Daria is a beautiful bulldoggy gal who would love to leave the shelter behind before summer in Tucson really sets in. Bulldogs need AC, cool floors to nap on and to be indoors when it’s hotter than the blazing sun outside!! Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Daria is a short-snooted, crooked-tailed barrel of a lady who clearly has some bulldog in her. She was very friendly and easy to leash up in her kennel and we headed for a play yard. She took some time to take care of business and explore, sniffing all the good smells. She approached me when I called and was very very friendly- she enjoyed pets and attention without being demanding. Because she’s a bulldog, she tired out pretty quickly in the 80-degree heat and spent most of her time lying down in the shade and enjoying pets and scratches. She likes treats and took them fairly gently and overall was just a very pleasant pup to spend time with!”Daria is looking for a home without small dogs and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. She also wouldn’t mind being your one and only so she can hog all of your attention! Ask to meet Daria today!!
