Ready to adopt? Start by filling out an application at tailsofrescue.org or click the Adoption button below—this is the first step to learn more about our animals and for us to get to know you. Since not all of our pets come into the store each day, adoption meet-and-greets are scheduled by appointment.   Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $200  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##2533562##

I found this dog in Corning, CA on the side of the road on Oren and Blackburn. Ive searched for his owner for a couple of months now. We started calling him Jake and he got used to that name. Im not sure how old he is, a vet told me judging by his teeth he could be anywhere from 10 months to a little over a year. oim looking for a new home for him because I already have 2 other dogs and a cat. Jake deserves more time for someone to train him, neuter him and give him more love. He thrives when by himself and he loves lots of love and attention. I believe had has been through some trauma, he is vocal at first when it comes to men and certain people, but instantly cowers down when they get close to him. He flinched a lot, as well, which weve been working on and he is doing much better with that. I wish I knew more of his past, but I know his future is so bright. He can sit and stay, but he is very hesitant to do other things. He is crate trained. Jake is loyal and protective.

Meet Sir Handom Butters English Bulldog | 4 Years Old | Special Needs Sir Handom Butters is a resilient. He was found on the streets in Redding, CA, in September in critical condition, suffering from severe infections, mange, open sores, and extreme emaciation. Butters has made a remarkable recovery and is now fully vet-cleared and ready for placement in a permanent, loving home. Butters has epilepsy and requires daily seizure medication to manage his condition. While seizures may still occur, they are currently supported through meds at 2× a day. He is 38 pounds. Crate trained and partially potty trained. Should go home with experience with english bulldogs and or similare breeds. Feel free to reach out to me for any questions.
