Story
Meet Puggy Sue! Puggy Sue is a sweet 10-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix who is ready to find a loving family to spend her golden years with. This little lady is the perfect mix of easygoing and affectionate. She loves being with her people and is happiest when she can curl up on the couch and relax by your side. She also enjoys her chew toys and has plenty of love to give! Puggy Sue is house trained, crate trained, good in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. She does well with kids and other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for many types of families. At 10 years old, Puggy Sue isn’t looking for a crazy adventure—she’s looking for someone who will appreciate her gentle, loving nature and give her a cozy spot on the couch. If you’re looking for a sweet little companion who will happily be your shadow and your couch buddy, Puggy Sue may be your girl! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   August 19, 2026, 10:31 pm

Story
Daisy is a poodle/pug/beagle mix puppy (yes, really, we double checked) with a poodle’s build and energy level. Her coat is wiry and soft, and she has the longest, softest ears. She’s an active, athletic girl who loves to run and play and has zero interest in sitting still, until she’s tired, that is, and then she’s out. She’s toy motivated, fairly smart, and picks up on training well, but she’s also got an independent streak, so she does best with someone willing to put in consistent time with her. That investment will pay off. Underneath all that energy is a genuine snuggle bug who wants nothing more than to crash on your lap once she’s had her exercise for the day.Daisy is confident. With other dogs, she’s playful but pushy, she doesn’t always listen to their cues and just wants to play, and she’ll try that approach even with dogs twice her size. She’d do best paired with a dog that has some patience and can roll with a puppy who hasn’t figured out boundaries yet, but will not let her completely take control. Most cats aren’t a good match for her, unless they are very confident and willing to stand up for themselves or very rowdy and playful with dogs, otherwise she will just jump on them trying to play. She loves people and gets thrilled to meet new ones. She just hasn’t learned yet that jumping isn’t the best way to say hello. She’s great with kids, but she plays like a puppy plays, so she’ll do best in a home with school-age children rather than toddlers who can’t handle her enthusiasm. She’s crate trained and sleeps through the night without a fuss. House training is still a work in progress. She does well on a regular schedule but doesn’t yet reliably ask to go out on her own.Daisy is going to grow into a dog who could really do something with all that drive, whether that’s agility, a job to do, or just being the confident leader of her own little pack. She needs a home ready to channel her energy rather than fight it.She’ll be around 20 pounds full grown. Because she’s still too young to be spayed, Daisy will go home on a foster-to-adopt contract.Interested in Daisy? Story
Hi! My name is Leia. I am very calm and very sweet girl. I do want attention. I do well on leash so going on walks is a great way for me to enjoy the outdoors. I sit when I am given a treat. I don't bark much. I am pretty layed back. I am a little selective with other dogs. I do fine with kids, and cats. I would love to find a home soon to be loved foreverTo adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.
