Rio was a rescue, found at about 4 months old, alone. Soon after, she broke her hind leg after jumping on a tile floor, fixed with surgery. Due to this timeline, we missed a critical opportunity to train her well. She is very sweet and friendly, knows basic commands. She does have poor recall, so she has to be leashed at all times when outside. Despite her injury, she is really fast and loves playing with other dogs. However, she definitely needs to be in a home with another dog to use up the energy. We used to have a large fenced in yard where she was really happy.

Hi there, I'm Vernon! I am a super snuggly sweetheart. I have the the softest, rabbit-like fur you’ll ever touch. I'm a bulldog mix with the cutest underbite, really, I'm a total cuddlebug and love nothing more than curling up close for a nap—or playing joyfully with other dogs. Before rescue, I was surviving as a stray on the streets for months, too scared to trust despite many kindhearted attempts. When I finally decided it was okay to trust and taken in, I had some serious wounds from life outside — I got some TLC, antibiotics, and love. But that is all behind me now and my foster says I've healed beautifully, both inside and out. I have been told that I can have a very serious look but I am gentle, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with a forever family. While I haven't met cats yet, I am at my best and confident when I am with other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions or loving humans who adore snuggles. Now that my rough days are behind me, I'm ready for a soft bed, full belly, and lots of love—maybe with you? Location: Centerville, OH Food: Royal Canin GI multifunction Hydrolyzed Medication: NexGard Plus Harvey is a three year, 9 month old bully who is pretty laid back and loves everyone. He is a touch underweight and could use a couple extra snackos until he puts on a few pounds. We have been feeding him just a bit extra each meal to slowly get him where he needs to be. Harvey loves a good walk and does really well with almost no pulling at all. He gets along with all the dogs in our house and even ignores our house rabbit. He is a super happy guy. In fact, he is so happy that he has missing hair on his tail from wagging it so hard against the bars of his crate. He is crate trained and potty trained with his only accidents the first couple days here (different environment and schedule so to be expected). He would be good as a single dog or with a dog sibling or two. Due to his size and energy I’d recommend older children who are not easily knocked over by a bigger dog. He really is a happy go lucky guy who wants to be by your side and see what you are doing at all times. If you need a Velcro friend, Harvey may be the guy for you. ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!

She was brought in as a stray in rough shape with mange and very skinny, but she has come a long way and is ready for a fresh start. Charlee is incredibly adaptable and takes new experiences in stride. She handles bath, blow dry and nail trims like a champ. She has also done well with coexisting with two cats. She may chase them out of curiosity and playfulness but never shown any aggression whatsoever. She is a smart, food motivated girl who is eager to learn. Charlee could use some help polishing her manners but with consistency and guidance she will thrive. She can be a bit pushy at times and sometimes thinks hands are bringing treats so she may try to nibble. She responds well with redirection and is already showing how trainable she can be. Charlee loves to play and would do best with plenty of exercise and enrichment. She may enjoy being an only pet with lots of attention, or having a larger dog sibling who can match her playful energy. When playtime is over she is happy to snuggle up on the couch or join you for a nice walk. Charlee is truly such a good girl and she’s going to make someone very happy.
