Yes Weight: 18lbs Adoption Fee: $320.00 Any other info: Meet Focaccia Soft, warm, and impossible not to love, just like her namesake, Focaccia is ready to become the best part of someone's day. This adorable two year old Pug mix recently joined our adoption program from another shelter and is now searching for the perfect place to land. While change can be a little overwhelming, we're already seeing this sweet girl's personality start to blossom. At first, Focaccia can be a bit shy when meeting new people and exploring new surroundings. But give her a little time, a little patience, and a little love, and her delightfully goofy Pug personality comes bursting through. Before you know it, you'll be treated to her signature big eyed expressions, hilarious antics, and the most adorable teethy smile you've ever seen. Focaccia has plenty of energy and would love a family that's ready for fun, adventures, and lots of playtime. She will keep you on your toes, making you laugh one minute and melting your heart the next. Whether she's zooming around the yard, investigating the world around her, or soaking up affection from her favorite people, she approaches life with enthusiasm and charm. Focaccia is two years old, spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us. Most of all, Focaccia is looking for a family to call her own...a place where she can finally unpack her bags, settle in, and let her true self shine. She's got a heart full of love, a face full of personality, and a lifetime of companionship to offer. If you've been searching for a sweet, silly, lovable sidekick with unforgettable eyes and an award winning smile, Focaccia might just be the missing ingredient in your family. Story
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/TAP/2450-michigan-adoption Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport. Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!
