Story
Meet Carmelow!!! Carmelow is a sweet pug mix who just needs the simple things in life. He's not a complicated dog — he just wants to go on walks, be near his person, and maybe show off his little trick where he stands on his hind legs and waves his front paws when he knows a treat is coming. It's ridiculously cute. He's got a medium-to-high energy level, so he does best with someone who is looking for more of an active dog. He LOVES going on his daily walks. He also is a huge fan of exploring and sniffing around, so a short hike is right up his alley. Inside, he's pretty chill once he's had his exercise. He'll hang out right at your feet while you're working or relaxing — this dog just likes being close to his people. Carmelow gets along well with other dogs and warms up to strangers quickly. We prefer Carmelow goes to a home with a fenced yard or at someone who will keep him on leash at all times as he will test the boundaries. *5 years young *Neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, vaccinated. *Dog, cat and kid friendly (may sometimes chase a cat but means no harm) *No need for a crate, not destructive! Apply here to meet this cute boy! https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Please read this carefully before applying. Bob is all love. Bob is adorable. Bob is a handful. Bob's Daily Routine Cheat Sheet (A realistic snapshot of what helps Bob succeed) Morning Wake up = immediate trip outside. No coffee first. Bob will not wait. Breakfast. Straight back outside. This is not optional. Bob is fully prepared. Mid-Morning Short walk or play session. He's got bunny energy and needs an outlet. Supervised free time. If it's on the floor and smells interesting, Bob will investigate with his mouth. Midday Potty break. Even if he &#194&#147just went earlier.&#194&#148 Trust us. Nap time. Bob naps hard. After Any Nap Outside. Immediately. This is a pattern, not a suggestion. Afternoon Another short walk or play burst. Mental stimulation helps. Sniffing, training, puzzle toys that are not edible. Dinner Dinner. Immediately outside again. Bob is nothing if not consistent. Evening Chill time with his people. Couch, cuddles, general supervision. Gates up. Trash secured. Snack drawers closed. Before Bed One last potty trip. Do not skip this. Bedtime with his humans. Bob takes this part very seriously. Important Notes Bob thrives on routine, supervision, and follow-through. Accidents will happen while training continues. A good stash of paper towels and disinfectant is required. Homes without carpet are strongly preferred. A non-rental home is ideal due to training and management needs. A fenced-in yard would be a big plus. Bob loves to do zoomies, especially with other dogs. Bob should not have access to garbage, litter boxes, toys, or unattended food. Consistency + structure + humor = success. Baby gates are not a suggestion. They are a lifestyle. Homes with kids' toys scattered around, piles of things, and similar clutter may be too much for him. He's not potty trained, but being crated for hours and hours is not going to be good for him. He adores humans and being part of the mix. Email us at info@sheltertohome.com if you're interested in meeting or learning more about Bob. **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**March 18, 2026, 11:11 pm

💥💥💥 ADOPT ME 💥💥💥 Meet Buzz! This handsome Chug (Chi/Pug) is looking for his forever home. We rescued him from a severe neglect situation. He has come an extremely long way with his health journey. He had little to no hair due to a full body skin infection, but as you can see he’s turned into a dapper young man. Buzz currently weighs in around 20 lbs and we believe him to be approximately five years old. Buzz stats- ☄️Buzz is a timid little guy, but blossoms nicely when he feels safe & secure. He loves his people who care for him, but will need to work on some confidence building when introduced to new things. ☄️ Buzz gets along well with other dogs, ideally we would like him to have a canine buddy who is more confident than him to show him the ropes of dog life. ☄️ Buzz is crate/pen trained, but once adjusted to a new home could probably have free rein. He’s proven himself to be rather polite and well behaved. ☄️ Buzz will bark at strangers, but is very sweet to his core. Not an ounce of aggression has been seen, but we do want a family/owner who can understand he hasn’t experienced much life beyond the neglect he suffered. ☄️ Buzz has a funny, quirky personality. He sports a goofy smile and has the most endearing face and demeanor. If Buzz sounds like the dog for you, please fill out an application for adoption! You can find our applications on our website or you can email for us for one - 💡www.Canineliberationleague.com 💡 Canineliberationleague@gmail.com Buzz is current on all vaccinations including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella. He is neutered, microchipped, fecal & heartworm tested. 📍We are located in SE MI, Buzz in in a foster home in Ann Arbor, MI 🚨 PLEASE SHARE to help Buzz 🚨

Story
Meet Willow Willow is a 6-year-old Boston Terrier/Pug mix weighing in at 24lbs of pure personality, snuggles, and comedy. This sweet girl recently found herself in rescue after her family made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her while going through difficult personal hardships. It was clear she was deeply loved, and now she’s hoping to find a forever family to love her just as much. Willow is an active, social, and happy girl who enjoys being part of the action. She has a goofy, comical personality that is guaranteed to keep her family smiling. Whether she’s bouncing around with excitement, carrying around her favorite chew toy, or burrowing herself deep into a pile of blankets like the little “blanket baby” she is, Willow brings joy everywhere she goes. She does well with other dogs, has lived successfully with cats, and has experience around dog-savvy children. Willow is both house trained and crate trained, making her transition into a new home much easier. Willow will require either a securely fenced yard or a family committed to regular leash walks and exercise, as she has a tendency to run if given the opportunity. Because of this, she is not a good candidate for a tether or tie-out system. This adorable girl is looking for a family that will appreciate her silly personality, love of cozy blankets, and affectionate nature. In return, Willow promises plenty of laughs, companionship, and unconditional love. If you’re looking for a sweet, funny, snuggly companion to love furever, Willow may just be your perfect match. Willow is:Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and RabiesDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedSpayedADOPTION FEE: $375 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program. FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. ##2731095##

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Meet Jellybean – a little burst of springtime joy! Just like her name, Jellybean is tiny, sweet, and guaranteed to brighten your day. At only 9 months old and around 35 pounds, she’s the perfect little pocket of happiness... small enough to snuggle, but big enough to fill your heart completely. Jellybean’s story hasn’t always been as bright as a spring morning. When she first arrived at the shelter in Detroit, she had a painful injury on her face that tugged at everyone’s heartstrings. Once she made her way into foster care, it was discovered that the wound wasn’t what it seemed - there was actually a piece of bone in there that had to be removed so she could finally begin to heal. And now… this spring marks her fresh start. Like the first flowers pushing through after a long winter, Jellybean is blooming into the happy, loving pup she was always meant to be. She’s resilient, playful, and full of that quiet kind of joy that makes you smile without even realizing it. All she needs now is a forever home where she can keep growing, loving, and sharing her sweetness - just like the best kind of jellybean. Ready to add a little sweetness to your life? Jellybean is waiting.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. May 22, 2026, 8:01 am

Meet Bonded Pair Jackie & Shirley! ! We’re the Dynamic Duo of Jackie Lovebird and Shirley Sweetspire! But please, just call us, Jackie and Shirley! We are the newest version of Lucy and Ethel, Laverne and Shirley, Thelma and Louise, Serena and Venus Williams! We are beautiful bulldog mix BABES! And just like the famous duos we mentioned above, we share everything! You can put two food bowls out if you like but we will share one and then move on to bowl #2! Together. Two beds? Ok… but look for us in one, sharing cuddle time, grooming time, naps, dreaming and sweet little snores. We share our toys, our treats, our training time, our walks and the spotlight! And yes, we share the same recent spay surgery date! Not the spa day we had envisioned. We are sweet as pie, gentle, funny and smart. We are learning new things everyday with our foster family. Especially trust! Never knew that a leash meant a nice walk, that pets and scratches under our chins from the humans was a great thing or even what grass felt like under our feet. We LOVE the outdoors! Our foster dog brother Giovanni has taught us great things too. Like how to get treats if we sit, stay down and come when called. We really like him! We have a foster cat sister (she thinks she’s a dog) and we don’t mind her either although we haven’t interacted too closely with her yet. We don’t complain, snap, resource guard, get anxious or have separation anxiety when our foster family has to step out. We are really pretty calm and as long as we have each other LIFE is GOOD!! We are each other’s bestie! Our bond is STRONG but we have room in our hearts for LOTS and LOTS more love! PLEASE consider opening YOUR hearts for “double the snuggles”… You won’t be disappointed. Jackie - 3 years old & 30 lbs. Shirley - 3 years old & 28 lbs. We are both spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and fecal tested. Adoption Fee: $400. Meet Freya!!! Sadly her family is moving due to the military and they can only take two of their three dogs. We are on the hunt for Freya’s new family! Could it be you? Let us tell you all about Freya… The Happy Girl: Freya is famous for her constant, stress-free smile that will melt your heart 24/7. Vibe: She’s a 50/50 mix of independent adventurer and loyal shadow. She loves curling up on the couch or her dog bed and has zero destructive habits. Daily Routine & Habits: Energy Level: Medium She requires 1-2 walks a day, walks perfectly right by your side on a loose leash, and settles down immediately when playtime is over. Home Alone: Excellent! She’ll bark just 3-4 times when you leave (monitored on camera) and then takes a nap. Potty Training: Fully house-trained and will whine at the door when she needs to go out. Skills & Commands: Freya is a smart, well-mannered pup who knows sit, stay, down, leave it, crate, bed, and couch. She is fantastic in the car, does great with bath time, and loves playing with rubber rope toys and balls. Social & Family Life: She is great with children and has been lovingly raised around 9-month-old and 8-year-old kids. Other Dogs: She gets along wonderfully with most medium and large dogs, but she requires slow introductions. Story
Have you ever wanted to adopt a gargoyle on drugs? Perfect, because Bon Bon the little black beast is accepting applications. At a whopping 28 lbs, Bon Bon is 80% wrinkles, 10% missing fur, 5% big ol’ head, 5% floppy ears… and 0% brains. She’s a little cross-eyed, fully unhinged, and built like a toad/bulldog hybrid with the decision-making skills of a single Skittle. Bon Bon is impulsive. She’s bouncy like a bunny. She is mouthy AF. One minute she’s peacefully chewing a bone, and the next she’s launching herself at your ponytail for a quick swing around. She goes from 0–60 real quick… and then, just when you’re questioning every life choice that led you here (“what am I doing with this tiny gremlin?! WHY?!”), she slams on the brakes like she spotted a state trooper and melts into the cutest full-body lean. And suddenly… all is forgiven. Coordination? Never heard of it. This girl will fall off the couch, walk into walls, and somehow trip over absolutely nothing. She snorts, snores, farts, and will corn cob your arm fat when you least expect it. Personal space is a myth. Her zoomies? Unmatched. Unathletic. Slightly concerning. You’ll genuinely wonder if her limbs are going to detach mid-sprint. They won’t… probably. And in case these darling features aren’t enough to seal the deal immediately- she also has a bit of a napoleon complex with other dogs and needs foster home committed to working with her on her social skills. Yes, she’s a bit of a sour patch puppy. Yes, she needs a patient, consistent home committed to training and setting her up for success. And YES — she is absolutely, ridiculously worth every second of it. So if you read this and thought “this is the one” “I can’t live without this level of chaos” or even “ okay this sounds fun what the hell why not” message me and let’s get the ball rolling on this little girl’s next chapter!
