MEDICAL HOLD Hi, I’m Hank — a 2-year-old Frenchie–Pug mix weighing in at a cuddly 28 pounds, and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m a sweet guy with great energy who loves treats, toys, and getting out for walks and hikes, especially with a single person or a couple with older kids who enjoy being active together. I’ve had some tough experiences in my short life, and through no fault of my own my trust in people was shaken, so I take a little time to warm up — but once I do, I’m your friend for life and my whole heart belongs to my humans. I’d be happy as an only dog or living with other pups, and I’ve done well with pugs, Frenchies, and Boston terriers before. I’m potty-trained, sleep comfortably in my crate, and I can be trusted with free roam in the house. If you’re patient, kind, and have older children, I promise I’ll repay you with loyalty, love, and plenty of happy tail wags. 🐾

Story
Maverick is a 7‑month‑old, 19.5‑pound male pug with charmingly long legs and a gentle, affectionate nature. His first six months were spent in poor conditions without the training or socialization a young puppy needs, so he is still learning to feel safe in the world. Maverick can be anxious in new environments, around unfamiliar people, and during car rides. He may shake or hide behind your legs at first, but he warms up quickly once he feels secure. He is timid but never aggressive, and he responds well to patient reassurance. He does best with respectful children and enjoys the company of other dogs, though his high energy may be overwhelming for very young kids. Inside the home, Maverick is a lively, playful puppy who loves toys, zooming around the room, and playing with his foster pug sibling. He is startled by loud noises and storms, and he prefers quiet, uncrowded places for walks. He has done exceptionally well with housetraining, sleeps through the night in a kennel, and walks beautifully on a leash without pulling. He knows basic commands like sit and stay, though excitement sometimes gets the better of him. In true pug fashion, he is affectionate, clingy in a sweet “Velcro dog” way, and always convinced he is hungry. Maverick will thrive in a calm, patient home that understands he is still building confidence. A household with another friendly dog would be especially helpful for his anxiety. With time, consistency, and love, Maverick will continue to blossom into the loyal, joyful companion he is meant to be.

Meet MayBelle. She is a Heinz 57 mixed breed. Her mom was a pug but not sure about the breed of the father. She is a smaller size and an absolute cutie pie. She was adopted out 3 years ago and returned because she isn't getting along with the other dogs in the house. She is showing some food aggression. Older children in the home is probably best. She is playful, affectionate and loves stuffed animals. She is crate trained and will go to the back door and ring her bells to go outside. Her adoption fee is $200. We adopted Bud at 3 months old from The Puppy Store in Henderson. His birthday is on May 28, 2025. He is a very loving and playful puppy. You will fall in love with his personality. He is a quick learner. Potty trained in 3 days and uses the doggy door. He loves going to the park and gets along well with other dogs. He’s very friendly and isn’t shy around other people. He likes to play fetch and always plays with his dog toys. He enjoys the outdoors and walking. We would want a loving home for him where he’ll receive the attention he needs.
