From the dusty roads of Texas to the cozy trails of Colorado, Ketita has traveled far in search of her forever family. This petite pug was found as a stray and brought into a shelter before making her way to rescue — and now she’s ready to settle into a life filled with love, snuggles, and daily adventures. Ketita is a sweet and curious soul with a calm, gentle energy. She thrives on companionship and will happily follow her people from room to room, always eager to be part of the action. Whether it’s a car ride, a leashed walk through the neighborhood, or navigating a busy crowd, Ketita handles it all with grace and confidence. She gets along well with other dogs after a slow introduction and especially loves snuggling with her large-breed foster brother. Respectful children are no problem for this little lady, and while we’re unsure how she feels about cats, her adaptable nature suggests she could learn with time. She may bark when she sees other dogs on walks or at the fence, but with patience and gentle guidance, Ketita continues to grow in confidence and social skills. She’s not just adorable — she’s resilient, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s devoted companion. Jeremy was found by a good samaritan in California who worked with their local shelter to try to find if he had owners. He was very underweight and the the local shelters were overcrowded. She took care of him while waiting to see if an owner could be found. After some time, she reached out to the rescue for help and we were happy to get this sweet guy the care he needed. He recently made his journey to Colorado and he is loving the mile high life. Jeremy is still working on house training. He wears a belly-band in the house, takes frequent trips outside, and his current fosters use baby gates to limit his free roam when they aren't home. He was just neutered a few days ago, so this should help with his house training. Jeremey is a very cuddly & gentle boy, he follows his foster mom around and prefers to stay nearby and snag a little extra love anytime he gets the chance. He is in a foster home with other dogs and he is good with them but hasn't interacted with them much, other than sharing some snuggle time. He has been through a lot of change and has some separation anxiety. He is a very happy guy and acts like a big puppy with a moderate energy level. He is working on learning basic commands and is very food motivated so this is helping with his training. Jeremy's forever home will help him build his confidence and work on training with positive reinforcement. He is very eager to please and ready to be your best friend, especially if you love couch cuddles.

Josie was purchased by us as a puppy four years ago. She is great with our young children and has never bitten a human. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but we are committed to finding a perfect home. She is our second Boston after we fell in love with the breed after getting her older sister. Our two Boston girls were inseparable for three years, and suddenly Josie started getting increasingly aggressive towards her sister. She has spent time in doggy day care and shows no sign of aggression towards other dogs, but is relentless with our other girl Boston. Unfortunately we need to find her a home before one of them ends up severely injured or worse. She is very high energy, but also loving and cuddling. She needs to be the only animal and with someone who would like to give her walks, she is very good on a leash. Whoever adopts her would need to be committed to giving her the very best life and all the love and attention she deserves.

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Blu is almost 6 yrs old and weighs about 56 lbs (short and stocky). Her owner has had her as a puppy and is moving in with the girlfriend who has another dog and cat. Blu is good with dogs but does not like to share toys or food with other dogs so would need the only dog in the home. She lives with children ages 9-14 yrs old. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Blu, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Blu into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed.
