MEDICAL HOLD Hi, I’m Hank — a 2-year-old Frenchie–Pug mix weighing in at a cuddly 28 pounds, and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m a sweet guy with great energy who loves treats, toys, and getting out for walks and hikes, especially with a single person or a couple with older kids who enjoy being active together. I’ve had some tough experiences in my short life, and through no fault of my own my trust in people was shaken, so I take a little time to warm up — but once I do, I’m your friend for life and my whole heart belongs to my humans. I’d be happy as an only dog or living with other pups, and I’ve done well with pugs, Frenchies, and Boston terriers before. I’m potty-trained, sleep comfortably in my crate, and I can be trusted with free roam in the house. If you’re patient, kind, and have older children, I promise I’ll repay you with loyalty, love, and plenty of happy tail wags. 🐾

His first six months were spent in poor conditions without the training or socialization a young puppy needs, so he is still learning to feel safe in the world. Maverick can be anxious in new environments, around unfamiliar people, and during car rides. He may shake or hide behind your legs at first, but he warms up quickly once he feels secure. He is timid but never aggressive, and he responds well to patient reassurance. He does best with respectful children and enjoys the company of other dogs, though his high energy may be overwhelming for very young kids. Inside the home, Maverick is a lively, playful puppy who loves toys, zooming around the room, and playing with his foster pug sibling. He is startled by loud noises and storms, and he prefers quiet, uncrowded places for walks. He has done exceptionally well with housetraining, sleeps through the night in a kennel, and walks beautifully on a leash without pulling. He knows basic commands like sit and stay, though excitement sometimes gets the better of him. In true pug fashion, he is affectionate, clingy in a sweet “Velcro dog” way, and always convinced he is hungry. Maverick will thrive in a calm, patient home that understands he is still building confidence. A household with another friendly dog would be especially helpful for his anxiety. Josie was purchased by us as a puppy four years ago. She is great with our young children and has never bitten a human. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but we are committed to finding a perfect home. She is our second Boston after we fell in love with the breed after getting her older sister. Our two Boston girls were inseparable for three years, and suddenly Josie started getting increasingly aggressive towards her sister. She has spent time in doggy day care and shows no sign of aggression towards other dogs, but is relentless with our other girl Boston. Unfortunately we need to find her a home before one of them ends up severely injured or worse. She is very high energy, but also loving and cuddling. She needs to be the only animal and with someone who would like to give her walks, she is very good on a leash. Whoever adopts her would need to be committed to giving her the very best life and all the love and attention she deserves.

Making the decision to find a new home for Sky has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever faced. She is a 9 year-old English bulldog who has been a deeply loved member of our family since we brought her home from the breeder.We truly never imagined having to say goodbye, but more than anything, we want the very best life for her.Sky is the sweetest soul. She is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s right beside her people. She loves cuddling, following you from room to room, and giving that classic bulldog look that melts your heart instantly. She can be a little stubborn and goofy at times, but that’s part of what makes Sky so special. She fills a home with love, comfort, and laughter in the most beautiful way. Due to an unexpected job loss, we are no longer able to keep up with the medical and care expenses that come with her breed. This is absolutely heartbreaking for us, but we know Sky deserves stability, proper care, and a family who can provide everything she needs.
