Story
Gronk is a super smart dog. 7 years old. He is 100% Pug. Has paperwork . He is fixed. At 10 months during Covid. He is walked and pee matt trained for really hot days. He is svelt and muscular, not overweight. He listens very well and is obedient. He absolutely loves kids! He is great with our granddaughter and niece and kids he finds on his walks. He loves walks and making friends. He absolutely loves to cuddle on the couch, lays at my feet as I work from home. He was socialized starting at 10 weeks and gets along great with other dogs. Just not his sister. She is 3. He is sometimes aggressive with her, he will pick up his leg and pee on her and other objects in the house. He was recently boarded during a vacation we took and he did great and they tell us he loved it. We believe he would be loved and love living in a one dog house. It is heartbreaking to do this for us. But the peeing has become a serious problem as we are having to wash our other Pug almost daily.

Story
We love seniors! Welcome Mimi! You’d never know she‘s 15. This is what her foster family says… “She’s a lot stronger, faster, and healthier than we thought! She’s doing very well and shows no negative signs of anything being wrong with her. She eats, drinks, goes outside, RUNS AND JUMPS(!!!), and super excited for you to be with her. Honestly, she’s doing wonderfully and we love her!!!” Mimi is also very affectionate, loves to snuggle and happy to flip over for belly rubs. She did not belong in a shelter. Want to be her hero? Story
This friend has just arrived because their owner could no longer keep them. While owners can provide some history on their pets, our medical and behavioral teams will still evaluate them. Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. They are pending interactions with other animals at the shelter until they have been cleared by our vet. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and we will update their bio with more information as we learn. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
