He is currently with one of our partner rescues in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Pop Pop is ready to add a whole lot of love, snorts, and stuffed-animal carrying to someone’s life. This sweet Pug boy was one of three male Pugs picked up by animal control in Louisiana. One of his friends sadly needed a leg amputated but quickly found a loving home. Pop, who has also had a rough start with an eye ulcer, is still waiting for someone to choose him. Estimated to be around 4 years old, Pop has great teeth, a little distinguished white around his muzzle, and a slightly hazy left eye—but none of that slows down his ability to love people with his entire heart. Pop is a happy, affectionate guy who: • Loves other dogs. • Gets absolutely thrilled when people give him attention. • Carries stuffed animals around in his mouth like they are his prized possessions. • Enjoys spending time outside and taking in the world. • Has the sweetest, most loving personality. Like any Pug, Pop needs a family who will keep a close eye on him in warm weather and make sure he does not overheat during outdoor time.
