Spunky, lively, long legged, and lovely, Stella is a mischievous, hilarious, adorable little goofball who is sure to keep you entertained! At just one year old, she is still a puppy at heart, with all the squirmy, wriggly, jumping for joy exuberance that goes along with it. She loves to play with other small dogs, but she will cheerfully & loudly tell off any big dogs that wander too close! She may be able to live successfully with cats, although that is only a guess.Stella is believed to be a mix of Chihuahua and Pug. At just under 9 lbs., she is full-grown and will stay a pocket-sized pup for life. Stella is outgoing and has a personality much bigger than she is! If you would love a little lap-sized dog with more character and sass than she knows what to do with, Stella might be just the girl you’re looking for. She is fully vetted, up to date with vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and ready to roll! Stella is a fun and energetic pup who can't wait to find a family who will give her the time, attention, and love she needs and deserves.*Approved applicants are welcome to participate in our popular Slumber Party program and take a dog home for up to 2 weeks to make sure she is a great fit.If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an Adoption Application at www.caninerescue.org. *After you have completed your application, you will get a confirmation that we have received your application. It takes a lot of time to process the applications, so we ask for your patience while we do so. If you see that the dog you were interested in has been adopted it means there were many applications for that dog and we did not get as far processing your application before a home was found. Potential adopters must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.*PLEASE double check all of the phone numbers that you provide. If they are incorrect, we will not be able to process your application. Please also let your references know that someone from NCCR will be calling them.
