Hello! I am new to the shelter! Please keep checking my profile for updates as the staff gets to know me better! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 PetWatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $175.00Per state law chapter 25.4, adopters must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. Story
Irving is a spunky 1.6-year-old with a go-with-the-flow attitude and a big personality packed into a small package. His sassy side gives him extra confidence, especially around other dogs, and he`s the kind of pup who approaches life with determination and curiosity. He is persistent, playful, and always ready to see what adventure comes next. He would do best as an only dog or with a tolerant canine companion who doesn`t mind having an occasionally pesky little brother around. If you`re looking for a fun-loving dog with plenty of character, come meet Irving today!

Story
Meet Olivia! 🐾 Olivia is an adult Jack Russell mix who enjoys affection and happily soaks up attention from those around her. She is currently in foster care. Her foster mom says she has the perfect balance of intelligence, playfulness and affection! She has not had any accidents in her foster home so far, and she knows a few basic commands, and will sit when asked before being handed her meals. She's always very excited to learn something new. Olivia really likes those Kong toys with sausage slices or cheese slices inside. Her favorite playtime is enjoying the outdoors chasing chipmunks or squirrels in the back yard. She loves car rides, and stays calm during drive time. She also enjoys walks in the park, especially seeing chipmunks and squirrels! She has good leash manners, and is easy to relax with when on a walk or jog. Olivia is a bit shy, but once she meets someone, either children or adults, she loves their company! She's very affectionate, and even though she's got her playful side, she enjoys resting and relaxing indoors or outdoors with her people. Her foster mom also reports that Olivia rarely barks. Olivia has encountered dogs on walks in the park, and has been good with meeting dogs that aren't overly eager in their interactions. Olivia will make a wonderful addition to someone's family for sure! The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
