Story
Meet Janice! Janice is an adorable Pug/Chihuahua mix who is ready to start the next chapter of her life. She came into our care after having an accidental litter in a home with far too many dogs. While Janice was clearly loved, her previous owner did not have the resources or knowledge to provide the responsible care she deserved. Now that her puppies are grown and her mom duties are behind her, Janice is looking forward to being spoiled as someone's beloved companion. She will be spayed before adoption and will soon be ready to find her forever home. Janice is a total sweetheart who absolutely adores people. She has done well with young children, though she can be a little cautious when kids are moving quickly or playing energetically around her. A gentle introduction and respectful interactions help her feel comfortable and secure. Having lived with multiple dogs in her previous home, Janice is familiar with sharing her space. We suspect she would do well with a polite, well-mannered male dog, though proper introductions are always important. As Janice settles into life without babies and adjusts to her new routine, we're continuing to learn more about her personality.
