Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement—Kennel License #2617Could he do well with kids? Yes, with children around 8 years on a kid-by-kid basis.Could he do well with other dogs? Yes, on a dog-by-dog basis.Has this dog lived with cats? Yes. [The Lycoming County SPCA does not “cat test” dogs per the Association of Shelter Veterinarian’s Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters.]---What volunteers have to say about this animal:Meet Remmy – Treat Enthusiast, Professional Snuggler, Very Good BoyRemmy has a simple philosophy: if you`re offering a treat, he would like to participate. If you`re offering a lap, he`d like to participate in that, too. This handsome Boxer–Pug mix arrived at the shelter needing to put on some weight, so he`s understandably a big fan of snacks. We do not have the heart to disagree. He was curious about meeting new people and frequently checked back in with his human, while his introduction to another dog was polite and reserved. He`s a thoughtful fellow who seems to like taking his time before deciding how he feels about things.Remmy`s Ideal Home Looks Like:- Kids around 8+, on a case-by-case basis- Other dogs, pending meet-and-greets- Cats are a possibility—he has lived with them before- A family that will keep the treats coming and make him feel safe and lovedRemmy is the sort of dog who makes you want to slow down. Give him a snack. Give him a little reassurance. Give him somewhere comfortable to curl up. And if he decides your
