Story
This is Lulu. She is a 1-year-old pug that I recently picked up from someone who listed her on Craigslist. She is a very cute, snuggly, energized pup but she has severe abandonment anxiety. I’ve tried to keep her but she cries constantly while I am at work, causing my neighbors to alert my landlord. I wish I had the time to train this cute pup but I work 12-14 hour shifts a few times a week and realistically won’t be able to. The lady I got her from claims she is house-trained but for me she hasn’t been. She likes other dogs off the leash but can be reactive in the leash. She will scratch any door or wall that separates her from you due to her separation anxiety. I believe she is partially mixed with another breed as she is 30lbs, but she does look full pug otherwise. I am confident she will be a very loyal, loving dog who is eager to please. I just can’t dedicate the time to her extreme separation anxiety. I want to help her find a good home, please reach out if you’re interested!

Story
Meet Hendrix, a five-year-old pug with a one-of-a-kind story and a heart that plays nothing but love songs 🎸🐶 Hendrix was born a little different, with both testicles and a uterus, and he has already been through surgery to help him urinate properly. He also had a large bladder stone, likely connected to recurring urinary tract infections. Because of this, Hendrix will most likely need ongoing medical monitoring for urinary tract infections and potential crystals in the future. Now here’s the most important part: none of that has dimmed his sparkle. Hendrix is the sweetest, wiggliest boy you’ll ever meet. He loves people with his whole entire self. His tail has two speeds, wag and turbo-wag, and his mission in life is simple: be close to his humans and spread joy wherever he goes. He doesn’t let his medical history define him. He’s far too busy soaking up attention and living his very best pug life. Hendrix will need an adopter who understands that he may require future veterinary care and is prepared to stay proactive about his urinary health. In return, you’ll get a devoted, affectionate little shadow who greets each day with enthusiasm and a whole lot of wiggle. Hendrix has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and is current on vaccines and flea and heartworm prevention. All New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoor with supervised playtime outside only. Hendrix’s adoption fee is $150. If you believe special needs dogs deserve extraordinary love, Hendrix is ready to wiggle his way straight into your heart and stay there 🐾💛
