Meet Bubblegum, a seven-year-old pug mix with a permanently adorable tongue-out expression and enough charm to make anyone smile 🐶👅 Bubblegum is the kind of dog who doesn’t even have to try to be cute. His little tongue is always peeking out, giving him a goofy, lovable look that perfectly matches his sweet personality. He’s a friendly, easygoing guy who enjoys people, cozy spots, and being part of the action without causing too much trouble. Right now, Bubblegum is looking for a foster-to-adopt home while he completes his heartworm treatment. Over the next three months, he’ll need to take life at a slower pace and stay calm while his body heals. He’ll also need to return to the shelter every 30 days for treatment, so his foster-to-adopt family should be able to bring him in for those scheduled visits. Think of it as a temporary “rest and relaxation” plan for a very deserving little guy. Once his treatment is complete, his adoption can be finalized, and he’ll be ready to enjoy many happy years ahead. Bubblegum has been neutered, microchipped, and is current on vaccines and flea and heartworm prevention. All New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoor with supervised playtime outside only. 💲 Bubblegum’s adoption fee is $85. If you have a calm home, a comfy couch, and a soft spot for dogs with permanently silly faces, Bubblegum would love to stick his tongue out at life with you by his side 🐾💛

  Meet Gideon – A Little Dog With a Very Big Heart ❤️   Gideon’s story began in a home that simply had too many dogs and not enough care to go around. Along with many other Chihuahuas, he ended up in a small rural Tennessee shelter, frightened and unsure of what the future held. Thankfully, rescue stepped in, and now Gideon is ready to find the stable, loving home he deserves. Gideon is a handsome puggle mixpossibly with a little Feist in him, which gives him a slightly sturdier build and a touch of athleticism. He is about 5 years old and weighs around 14 pounds, making him the perfect compact companion. This sweet boy is looking for a person to love and protect. Gideon forms deep bonds and wants to be someone’s loyal little shadow. His past environment was chaotic, living among more than 15 other Chihuahuas, so what he needs most now is consistency, patience, and a devoted adopter who will give him the stability he’s been missing. Gideon is surprisingly athletic and clever. He’s not a fan of being confined and has been known to scale baby gates with impressive agility! He much prefers being free to explore his home and yard alongside his person. Despite his adventurous side, Gideon is also a snuggle expert. He loves kisses, cuddling close, and soaking up affection. He can be a little bossy with other dogs at times — a habit he likely developed while navigating his former crowded home — but his heart is full of love for his people. He enjoys spending time outdoors, strolling around the yard, and stretching out in a sunny spot to relax. His size and adaptable nature make him a wonderful fit for apartments, condos, or smaller living spaces.
