Story
Meet Duke!Duke is a sweet, loyal senior pug with a heart full of love. His favorite place in the world is right at his person’s feet, and as long as he’s close to his family, he’s perfectly content. He thrives on companionship and simply wants to be near the people he loves.Although Duke is a senior pug, he still has plenty of spunk! He enjoys exploring, gets excited at mealtime (he’s definitely a food lover), and still has that playful spark that makes him fun to be around.Duke has a gentle, affectionate personality and genuinely loves people. He’s happiest in a calm home where he can spend his days relaxing by your side, soaking up attention, and being your faithful shadow. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will love you unconditionally and always be at your feet, Duke may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
We adopted Carole as a puppy from an AKC-accredited breeder in Alabama in 2018. Her birthday is October 25, so she’ll turn 8 this year. She is AKC certified, but we did discover she has hip dysplasia when she was a puppy, though she’s shown no signs in adulthood outside of some stiffness on morning walks. She is everything you’d expect a pug to be, but maybe with a little more energy! She loves to snuggle and lay on the couch mostly, but she also gets her occasional bouts of zoomies and enjoys shorter walks when it’s hot and longer walks when it’s cold. Carole has been great with our two small children, simply walking away when they do something that annoys her (like you’d expect a grumpy little pug to do). She’s also very food motivated and loves to lurk around the high chair or when you’re snacking waiting for something to drop. We love her dearly, but we are preparing to welcome our third child in December and want her to go to someone who can give her the attention she deserves!
