Story
TOBBY – Pug | 4 Years Old DOB: 11/03/2021 | 17 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated &Neutered  Meet Tobby a cheerful, charming Pug with a heart as round as his adorable face! At 4 years old, he’s playful yet mellow, loving yet independent. Tobby enjoys walks, belly rubs, and quiet moments snuggled up by your side. He’s a loyal little friend who thrives on being part of a family and makes everyone smile with his expressive eyes and wiggly tail. Breed Info: Pugs are affectionate, sturdy companions with clownish personalities. They love human attention and fit beautifully into family life. Their moderate exercise needs and even temperament make them perfect for apartment or house living alike. Owner Responsibilities: Keep him cool and safe from heat. Clean his facial folds regularly. Offer a healthy diet and moderate walks. Provide affection, structure, and routine — Pugs love consistency. Things to Consider Before Adopting: Do you have time for daily care, play, and snuggles? Are pets allowed where you live, and is your space ready for a dog? Will you be patient as your new companion adjusts to your home? Dogs are a long-term commitment — they need your love and attention for their whole lives. Vet Care: Tobby is healthy and fully vetted, but we encourage a visit to your vet after adoption to continue his care and maintain wellness. The 3-3-3 Rule & Commitment for Life: The first 3 days are for decompressing — everything is new, so give him space and reassurance. The first 3 weeks are when he’ll start learning your home, your schedule, and your heart. The first 3 months are when trust blooms, and he’ll know he’s truly home. Remember, adopting a dog is forever — a promise of love and care for a lifetime. Why Tobby Would Be a Great Addition: Tobby is the definition of a happy heart in a little body. His joyful energy and loving spirit will light up your home and warm your heart. Whether he’s cuddled on your lap or wagging beside you on a walk, Tobby will be your loyal companion — always ready to remind you that love, once given, is love forever. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Meet Toby – Your New Best Friend! Name: Toby Breed: Pug Frenchie mix DOB: October 23, 2023 Weight: 35 lbs Health: Healthy, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and neutered About Toby: Toby is a charming, goofy, and lovable Pug with a heart full of joy. At just under a year old, Toby is already showing what it means to be a loyal and affectionate companion. He’s extremely friendly with everyone he meets—humans, kids, and other dogs alike—and is always ready with a tail wag, snort, and happy bounce. Whether he's snuggling up for movie time or trotting around the yard, Toby brings a smile wherever he goes. He thrives on attention and loves being part of the family. His loving, happy-go-lucky nature makes him the perfect dog for anyone looking for a loyal, sweet, and easygoing pet. Breed Info: Pug + French Bulldog Mix (Also known as a "Frug") Toby is a lovable blend of two of the most affectionate and comical companion breeds: the Pug and the French Bulldog. This mix brings out the best of both breeds—playful, cuddly, sturdy, and full of personality. Frugs are known for their expressive faces, short muzzles, bat-like ears, and a stocky, compact build. They are small in size but big in heart! Temperament: Loyal, affectionate, playful, people-oriented Energy Level: Moderate – enjoys short walks and playtime, then happy to lounge Size: Small to medium, muscular build (Toby is on the larger side at 35 lbs) Grooming: Short coat, low-maintenance, but moderate shedding Health Notes: Brachycephalic breed – sensitive to heat and overexertion Good For: Families, singles, apartment living, first-time dog owners Life Expectancy: Around 12–14 years This mix is ideal for someone looking for a fun-loving cuddle buddy who will also entertain you with quirky antics and endless devotion. Owner Responsibilities: Adopting Toby means making a lifelong promise. Here are a few key things you’ll be responsible for: Providing daily food, fresh water, and exercise Keeping his skin folds clean and dry Regular vet visits and vaccinations Offering lots of attention and affection (Toby lives for love!) Giving him indoor space with a cool, comfy area (Pugs overheat easily) Continuing basic training and routines &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before Adopting: Pugs are brachycephalic, meaning they have short noses and can have breathing issues in heat or after too much exertion. They shed—a lot! Be ready to brush regularly and vacuum often. Toby needs to live indoors, with climate control, especially during hot or humid weather. He may snore (adorably), and he loves to follow his humans from room to room. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 A Commitment for Life: Toby isn’t just a pet—he’s family. He needs someone who will love him every day of his life, not just when he’s young and playful. Owning a dog is a 10–15-year commitment that includes time, energy, and heart. If you’re ready for that, Toby is ready for you. Why Toby Would Be a Great Addition to Your Family: He's already neutered, vaccinated, and healthy—ready to go! Muck – Male Pug Chi Puppy Age: Puppy DOB: 08/25/2025  Weight: Growing – currently around 15 pounds Health: Healthy, vaccinated, and ready for his forever family Meet Muck, the little charmer with a heart as big as his round puppy eyes! This roly-poly bundle of joy is curious, funny, and absolutely full of life. Muck loves everyone he meets and greets each day like it’s the best day ever. He’s playful, cuddly, and already showing that classic Pug personality — loyal, a little bit goofy, and completely irresistible. Breed Info: Pugs are known for their clownish charm, loyalty, and love of human companionship. They’re small but mighty in spirit, typically reaching 14–18 pounds when full grown. Pugs are wonderful family companions who thrive on affection and do best indoors as part of everyday life. Their adorable wrinkly faces and big personalities make them one of the most lovable breeds around. Owner Responsibilities & Things to Consider: Adopting a puppy like Muck means more than cuddles — it’s a commitment to teaching, training, and guiding a young dog through life. Expect potty training, teething, chewing, and learning basic manners. Muck will look to you for patience and gentle structure as he grows. If you rent, make sure your landlord allows dogs and understand that raising a puppy takes time, money, and consistency. Pugs can also be heat-sensitive, so they must live indoors with their family. The 3-3-3 Rule: Remember — it takes about 3 days for a new puppy to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, and 3 months to truly feel at home. Give Muck that time, and he’ll reward you with endless love and loyalty. Commitment for Life: Muck isn’t just a puppy for now — he’s a friend for life. Adoption means you’re promising to care for him, love him, and keep him safe through every stage of life. Why Adopt Muck? Because every day with Muck will make your heart lighter. His silly antics, playful nature, and loving eyes will bring laughter and warmth to your home for years to come. Lincoln is a loving, cuddly pup. He is wonderful with children from birth. He even loves toddlers. He is great with his dog roommate. Linc needs someone that wants a constant side kick. He does get separation anxiety. I have absolutely loved every moment with him. I just am going back to work full time and he needs someone home with him.
