Story
Meet Rubi ❤️ Female DOB: 2/5/2026 Weight: 5 lbs and growing Breed: Pug / Black Mouth Cur Mix Spayed (Fixed) (age-appropriate / pending) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Rubi may be tiny now, but she already carries a big, loving personality that shines through in everything she does. At just two months old, she’s at the very beginning of her journey—curious, playful, and discovering the world one moment at a time. She’s the kind of puppy that instantly makes you smile, with her sweet nature and little bursts of energy. Personality Rubi is affectionate, playful, and full of life. She loves being close, soaking up attention, and exploring her surroundings. One moment she’s happily bouncing around, the next she’s curling up for comfort—she brings that perfect balance of puppy energy and softness. She is naturally people-oriented and will grow into a deeply loyal companion who wants to be part of everything you do. Breed Info As a Pug / Black Mouth Cur mix, Rubi has a unique and wonderful blend of traits: The Pug’s loving, affectionate, and people-focused personality The Black Mouth Cur’s intelligence, confidence, and strong bond with family This combination creates a dog who is loyal, expressive, and connected, while also being active and eager to learn. She will benefit from both affection and structure as she grows. Ideal Home Rubi needs a home ready for all the stages of puppyhood—training, patience, and lots of love. She will thrive with a family who wants an interactive, affectionate companion. Owner Responsibilities Rubi will need consistent training, socialization, routine, and care. Puppies require time, dedication, and guidance to grow into well-balanced dogs. Things to Consider Puppies are a long-term commitment. Please ensure your time, finances, and lifestyle allow for the care she will need as she grows. The 3-3-3 Rule Even at her young age, Rubi will need time to adjust: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, she will blossom into a wonderful companion. Veterinary Care Rubi is fully vetted for her age, but we always recommend bringing her to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue her care. Important Note Rubi is an indoor family dog. She is not to be chained or left outside. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Lady Ludo   I’m a 3-year-old pug/Boston terrier mix, and I’m the kind of girl who’s looking for HER person—someone I can call my own so I can soak up all the belly rubs and be your loyal sidekick.   I’m a bit of a sensitive soul, so I thrive in a calm home with a gentle human companion, a predictable routine and a structured environment —because when life feels steady, I really blossom. I may be shy with strangers at first, but once I know you I’m all cuddles. I wouldn’t mind a mellow canine companion to snuggle up with too, as long as they’re happy to share the spotlight. I also get along with cats. As for kiddos, 8+ is best for me.   Short walks are where I can build confidence at my own pace, so I’d appreciate starting there and continuing to avoid other dogs when we’re out and about. Also, because of my breed, I don’t do well in the heat, so walks should stay under 75°F to keep me safe and happy.   At home, I’m an easy girl. I’m crate trained and sleep peacefully through the night, but I also do great loose in the house. I’m house trained and even know how to use a dog door, along with a few other tricks (especially for a treat). I’d love to sleep in your room if you don’t mind a little snoring, but I can be flexible about where I rest my head.   Lastly, I could stand to lose a few pounds—I carry it well and consider myself quite an athlete, but could we work on that together with some healthy habits?   If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who just wants to love and be loved, I might be your perfect match.
