Story
Gracie Olivia Bean is 1.5 years old. Born 2/28/25. Very playful and wants to be with her person all the time. Social breed. Needs an owner that understands that Pugs are not outside dogs. Easily overheated because of differences in their respiratory system. Wrinkles need maintaining/kept clean. She is not fond of nail trims - most pugs are not. She is current in shots/simparica trio and she is spayed. Mother is AKC and father is CKC registered. Paperwork provided with her placement. She is also microchipped. This will transfer with update in paperwork. This breed is not designed to live outdoors. She can be territorial with food. Pugs are like vacuums; eating is easy, getting weight from off is not. She is currently about 20 lbs; should weigh about 18lbs. Gracie comes with crate, toys, blankets, food.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Found as a stray, and the sweetest little man imaginable! Pugsley is fitting in easily to his foster home, and he tells us he likes laying on the sofa, pretending to be a cat, going outside with his foster siblings, and hanging out on the lap of his wonderful foster dad.  Pugsley is housetrained. He does have special needs, and that will make placement one that we will be extremely choosy about. Pugsley had his eye removal surgery for the eye that had been injured, was neutered, and his nares were widened, so snorting is less of an issue now. He is heartworm positive, which adds another dimension to his special needs. The vet said the entropian had cleared up on the good eye, so did not feel the need to surgically correct that, and his bite has also improved. He is looking good! . He is very loved! Adoption fee to help us cover costs: $300.   PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 7, 2026, 5:10 pm

Story
I'm William, a 10-year-old black Pug with a heart as big as they come! 🐾 At just 12 pounds, I'm the perfect lap-dog size, and I'm already neutered and housetrained — no surprises here. I'm bonded with my shelter buddy and we'd love to find a home together, plus I'm great with other dogs and kids, so I'll fit right into an active family. 💕 I'm loyal and cuddly through and through, and at this stage of my life, all I want is to spend my golden years with people who'll love me as much as I love them. Come meet me and my friend — we're ready for our forever home! 🏡
