Story
👑 Meet Jax — Your Little King in Waiting 👑At 9 years young, this handsome French Bulldog is ready to leave life’s recent challenges behind and settle into the loving forever home he truly deserves.Jax originally lived with a devoted owner who had to relocate for work. He was then cared for by family, but when his caretaker left for college, they realized they weren’t able to provide the medical care and attention he needs. Wanting the best for him, they made the difficult and loving choice to surrender him so he could get back on track and find a home prepared to treat him like royalty. When Jax arrived, he wasn’t in the best shape — dealing with itchy skin and open sores — but with proper treatment and TLC, he’s already feeling so much better. He’ll need a family committed to maintaining his comfort and continuing his care. He currently takes joint supplements to keep him feeling his best and fish oil capsules and medicated baths to help keep his skin comfortable and healthy. With consistency, he does beautifully.Jax is:✨ Housebroken✨ Calm and very obedient✨ Sweet, affectionate, and gentle✨ A professional nap enthusiastHe knows how to sit, give paw, and roll over, and he’s happiest lounging near his people, soaking up love and attention. His temperament is steady and easygoing — he’s a laid-back gentleman who truly just wants to be close to his humans.Jax isn’t asking for much — just a soft bed, dependable care, and a family who will treat him like the little king he is. In return, you’ll have a loyal, loving companion who will happily spend his golden years by your side. 💙Requirements: Martingale Collar; Joint Supplements; Fish Oil Capsules + Medicated Baths For SkinAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Story
Found strutting through a Winn-Dixie parking lot like he owned the place, Bean Pie was adopted and sadly recently returned due to his adopter facing multiple upcoming surgeries and no longer being able to keep up with this quirky little character. Now he’s a sturdy 45 lbs of attitude, adventure, and affection all rolled into one compact pup. He’s part lizard hunter, part cuddle bug—and 100% entertaining. Bean Pie loves car rides, gnawing on his favorite bone, and soaking up affection. He has big feelings about trucks (barking is his preferred language), and while he enjoys outings, leash manners are still a work in progress. He’s used to having free roam of the house and usually naps when left alone. At night, he settles into his bed or the coziest corner he can find. Just keep an eye on the door—this clever boy won’t miss an open opportunity. Bean Pie is dog-selective and would do best as your one-and-only or with a dog his own size. No small animals or kids, please—he can get mouthy when overexcited, so a calm, experienced adult home is where he’ll thrive.Bean Pie does have a partial cruciate ligament tear, which means he may occasionally limp if he overdoes it on activity. In a home environment, this may be very manageable with conservative care—taking things easy, limiting high-impact activity, and using over-the-counter pain management as needed. That said, we want what’s best for him long-term. We are happy to send Bean Pie home as a foster-to-adopt, and if surgery ultimately becomes necessary, H.A.L.O. would cover the cost, as long as the adopter is willing to handle the post-surgery recovery and care.If you’re looking for a big personality in a compact body and don’t mind helping him take life a little slower, Bean Pie might be your perfect slice. 🐾🍰Requirements: Martingale Collar; Dog Selective; Calm Children 16+; Foster-To-Adopt (Knee Injury)All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home.
