Story
Meet PD, a 10 year old Chihuahua. This little guy is fully potty trained! He has never had a single accident in his foster home. His favorite things are his people, his furry foster brother, belly scratches, being the boss of his household, and his twice a day treats (the only way he takes his medication). PD has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and a heart murmur, requiring daily medication. Also has kidney concerns which are maintained on a prescription kidney-support diet. He would benefit from losing some weight (he's quite chunky) with light exercise. It will be beneficial for his overall health. PD does not like dogs bigger than he is. He also does not like when his foster brother is getting attention and he isn't, or when someone gets too close while he is on your lap (he can be a bit possessive with his people). This special guy needs a calm and loving home that does not have a lot of new people coming around. He can be very spicy towards new people as he is very protective of his family. His furever family must also be willing to continue caring for his medical needs. He's been the bestest boy in his foster home. PD's $300 adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test, flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip registration. Story
Nate is a typical happy beagle, He loves everyone and likes to play with other dogs. He is 2 years old and weighs 25 pounds. Nate enjoys playing with toys and romping in the fenced yard. He is potty trained and is good in a kennel while the humans are at work. Nate did test positive for heartworms but the rescue will pay for his treatment as long as you can take him to Demanes Animal Hospital in Peoria.  Nate is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested positive, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Two sweet Chihuahuas mixes looking for their forever home. Churo (3.5 years old) Brown and Empanada (1.5 year old) TAN are looking their forever homes. They came from animal control after being pickup up as “strays” They at working hard at potty training and will eventually get there. I'm using belly bands for him as wet work on it). They are both super sweet and love to be in your lap and love attention. They love to run and play with toys, they love burrowing under blankets too sleep. They are both amazing dogs and deserve so much better than sharing life with 7 other dogs. They can be adopted together ($500)or separate ($300 each) They really are the sweetest dogs, they just need a chance. The adoption fee covers their spay/neuter, vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip registration.
