Velcro is a well-mannered, affectionate dog who adjusts easily to home life and enjoys being close to his people. He is 45 pounds, making him a petite little guy! He is potty trained and crate trained, and he already knows basic commands like “sit” and “shake.” Velcro lives well with other small dogs, coexists peacefully with cats, and has done well around older children. He is very friendly with new people and tends to warm up quickly, showing his social and easygoing nature. He is especially people-oriented and loves attention, with belly rubs being one of his favorite things. True to his name, Velcro likes to stay close to his humans and has even claimed his own chair, fully embracing his belief that he is part human. He also enjoys playing with toys, particularly squeaky stuffed toys that keep him entertained. Overall, Velcro is a loving, friendly, and adaptable companion who would do well in a variety of homes. Hi, I'm Angel. I was found as a stray and was living on my own for a while because I was too scared to let anyone near me. I finally decided to make friends with a nice lady and she hooked me up with ARPO. My right rear leg was majorly dislocated so I had surgery to help and I'm doing great. Now ARPO is helping me find a permanent home. I am good with dogs, cats, and people of all ages, once I get to know them. I don't like strangers. I like to bark at people who come to visit the house, and people I see on walks. My breed mix is anyone's guess. My foster family thinks I'm part chihuahua and part terrier of some kind. I've got an adorable scruffy kind of look. And I LOVE to cuddle. I'm happiest when I'm on your lap. I am only about one year and a half old and weigh around 6 pounds. I'm spayed, microchipped, current on my shots, and HW negative. I am crate trained and housebroken. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application and my friends with ARPO will be in touch!
