Jordan`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Looking for a feline-free homeKids - Yes, 10+Jordan is a classic beagle with a love for sunshine, cozy naps, and letting her voice be heard. She spent nearly her whole life with one family and is now ready to find her next adventure—and her next best friend. She’s sweet, snuggly, and has done wonderfully with older kids. Jordan is housebroken, non-destructive, and loves to curl up in her crate when left alone. She`s happiest when she has a sunny spot to nap in and someone nearby to keep her company.Jordan would prefer a home without cats and may do best as your only pup, though she might be open to a calm canine companion with a proper intro. She can be sensitive about her space sometimes, especially around unfamiliar dogs, but she’s easily redirected and settles well with routine.Like most beagles, Jordan’s got a strong personality, a big heart, and a nose that’s always on a mission. She’s looking for a home where she can relax, be herself, and feel truly loved. If you`re a beagle-savvy human with a soft spot for hounds, come meet Jordan—she just might be your perfect match.

Story
Kiera & Dexter`s Compatibility: Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - YesKids - YesDouble the dogs, double the love! Dexter and Kiera are a lifelong bonded pair who are ready to find a home where they can stick together and keep spreading joy like only they can. These two have been side by side since puppyhood and bring out the best in each other. They are housebroken, well-mannered in the home, and have always had access to a doggy door to go outside as needed. Dexter knows several commands (sit, stay, paw) and Kiera walks nicely on a leash, letting out little whines when she spots other dogs. Both have done well at the park and daycare, often grouped with the smaller dogs for playtime. They’re currently living with a foster family (and two cats!), where they’ve settled in beautifully. Every day when their foster comes home from work, they circle with joy—wagging, wiggling, and in Dexter’s case, letting out the cutest happy grunts and chuffs. If you lie on the floor with them, they`ll sandwich you with snuggles—Dexter usually gets there first, but Kiera’s not shy about tossing your arm off him to claim a few pets for herself. Their personalities shine brightest when they’re together, and it’s clear they find comfort in each other.Dexter and Kiera have lived peacefully with other dogs, passed their cat tests, and love a good bath or nail trim. They’ve also lived with a young child but would do best in a calm home where any kiddos understand how to respect their space—especially when they’re curled up in their beds.Kiera depends on Dexter when the world feels overwhelming, so these two must be adopted as a pair. They’re a special duo looking for a gentle, patient home that will embrace their bond and meet their needs with love and care.If you’re ready for twice the snuggles, twice the tail wags, and a lifetime of loyalty, Dexter and Kiera would love to meet you. They’re not just dogs—they’re family, and they’re waiting for the home that feels like theirs.

Story
Chewy is a 4 year old who has lived through far more than any dog should. His life prior to Sketchy Mutts was very sad, and he is just learning to trust humans and enjoy the comforts of his new foster home. Despite his rough past, Chewy is a sweetheart. He loves to play and snuggle, and seems so eager to please. He does occasionally get vocal and growly when being asked to do something he doesn’t want to do (like go in his crate 🙄🙄) but with a little patience, Chewy will do just about anything for you. He is currently in a foster home with a male dog and a cat, both of whom he's doing quite well with. He is still a bit unsure of the cat, and gets short, supervised visits, but he seems interested more than anything. Chewy deserves the very best, and we're here to help him find it. Are you the perfect home for this good boy? Fill out an application today! *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis

Story
Meet Muffin! If you are looking for a fun companion who enjoys all of life’s adventures, Muffin is your lady. At around 3-4 years old, Muffin has plenty of life ahead of her. She is a happy, wiggly, hilarious beagle who has all of the qualities you would expect. She’s social with people and dogs, LOVES snacks, and has that beagle bay true to her breed. Muffin is an easy going girl, and when she’s not patrolling the yard for critters and smells, she is lounging on the couch. She is crate trained and potty trained, and all around is a great girl. Muffin came to us very overweight, and although she has lost some, continuing her weight loss journey will be expected and extremely important for her new home. She will be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. To add Muffin to your life, apply today at farfetcheddogrescue.org! Muffins adoption fee is $275

Story
Meet the dynamic duo ... Dory & Luther! This pair will have you smiling in no time with their hijinks and antics! They just LOVE snuggles and cuddles! But when they aren't getting ear scratches and tummy rubs, they revel in games of chase and wrestling in the yard. Dory gets very proud of herself when she finds a toy and prances around like a racehorse with her prize in her mouth. Luther is our mischievous boy who is known to steal a treat from a countertop when he thinks no one is looking. Unfortunately, their first year and a half was not good. They were confiscated after a police raid of a drug house along with 45 other dogs. Both were severely traumatized from what they had experienced for those first 18 months. Luckily, they have flourished and blossomed as they've learned that people are safe and can be the source of good things. Dory is still pretty tentative around men; males were NOT good to her previously. She can learn to trust men with patience and kindness. Luther accepts everyone with a wagging tail. He is definitely Dory's "woobie" and provides her with a sense of confidence and feeling of safety. Dory follows his lead and feels safer when he is around. They are definitely a bonded pair. Both dogs are now 5 years old after rehabilitating with us for 3 1/2 years. Dory is an adorable beagle weighing about 25 lbs. Luther is a lab/border collie mix who is about 60 lbs. The ideal home for these wonderful dogs will have a secure fenced-in yard and, due to Dory's fear issues, no children under 16 years of age. They do need a calm home environment without a lot of visitors as it would be too much for Dory to handle as she progresses. Their new parents will need to be patient, loving and understanding as the two adjust to home life but they will reap an enormous amount of love this sweet pair. The adoption fee for both dogs is $300. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and heartworm/flea preventative.
