Story
Mitzi is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Mitzi is a female Boston Terrier/Cattle Dog mix and has just turned a year old (February 7th). -She weighs around 30 pounds. -Very friendly -Missing one toe from her right foot (you can see in pictures and video). Doesn't bother her in the slightest! -Has the cutest underbite! -Energetic, full of life. Happy to be here and have dog and human friends to play with -Couch potato -Walks on a leash. Walks ahead of you but does not pull -Loves car rides -Has done well in public in restaurants and stores, walking downtown, at our local Halloween Trunk or Treat (750+ kids were there) -Crate trained -Foster said about 50/50 on housetraining -Can be tested with cats upon request Mitzi was fostered for a week; here are more pictures and information on her! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16VBYyZaNj/ Video of Mitzi from February 7th: https://youtube.com/shorts/nYLNJb33sRc?feature=share Mitzi is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Story
KANE is an adorable almost year old medium mix of beagle-houndish origins if we had to guess. He's sweet and loves people and gets along with all the other dogs he's met so far. He's fully vetted and he's doing great learning the ropes of leash training and has a fun, curious energy. He likes to follow his foster around the house or get comfy with them in sight. Kane's already learning some commands, as well. He loves to play and has been a big hit at events we've brought him to. He loves playing fetch and will even bring it back most of the time, He is a big cuddlebug and loves to give kisses. He's just under 50 lbs and should be about full grown or close to it. We've just learned that he is NOT great with cats. FYI he came to us quite underweight and has put on a little weight proportionately since some of the earlier pictures shown here. (est dob 2/17/25) 👉 Adoption fee INCLUDES: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip (if the dog is under 6 months, alter and chip will occur after they're 6 months, covered in full at our clinic or reimbursed partially at a vet of your choosing). If the dog is older than 6 months and not yet altered, we will schedule ASAP (normally within 30 days) at our clinic . We also provide as an incentive a $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes. We do not do DNA testing and our breed guesses are based on appearance and sometimes other traits, but we know the dog breed guessing game is a fool's errand even for those with LOTS of experience. 🗺 ADOPTION AREA: several hour radius of Rochester, NY (Canada within 3 hours IS allowed, except that young puppies need to be old enough to have gotten their rabies vaccination to cross the border - usually around 16 weeks)

🐾 BOLT was one of a group of small dogs recently surrendered because his owner could no longer care for them. Bolt is reported to be 3 years old and we got him fully vetted when he came to us. His foster reports he's a sweet little guy who loves to give kisses and come so far in the few weeks since he's come to us - he's maybe a chihuahua Boston type mix? He loves people and is good with her other dogs. His foster used a belly band with him before his neuter and he does fine with it. He's only lifted his leg maybe once or twice in the weeks since neutered, but she still uses it because he's good with it and to give him a little more time to get out of the habit. He's leash trained, crate-trained with no fuss, and housetrained, too.
