I’m a little shy at first, but then when I come out of my shell, I am the life of the party. I am doing well in toilet training and I get along great with other dogs. I love playing with toys and I am learning how to fetch. I also want a yard to play in and explore so NO Apartments. I am a very small potato so I will need a family that understands they need to look out for me so I don’t get squished and a securely fenced yard so I can not slip out. Introducing Tater TotTater is still looking for his family! Tater Tot is a 2 year old, neutered, house trained chihuahua mix around 13 pounds. He is enthusiastic, playful, and a total kid lover. Tater cuddles up tight in blankets and sleeps all night. He is not crate trained. Instead, he stays quietly in there living room, curled up on a bed or the couch. Tater loves going for walks and doesn`t bark at other dogs when he sees them. He`s happy to meet and say hello to anyone. At home Tater will act as security, letting you know when there is someone at the door or you`ve received a delivery. More than anything- Tater loves children!Taters ideal family would have at least one child, aged 6 or older, that likes to play and cuddle! He regularly plays with a group of 8 children once a week and is thrilled about it. Tater loves playing fetch, tug o war, and chase. He is vocal when he plays and lets you know he`s having fun, with growling and some random barks. He is animated and real a joy to have around. When kids are playing out back, he stands among them as part of the group, climbs the stairs into the playhouse, and sits happily in their laps. Tater plays very well with dogs his size, too! He sometimes chases the smaller dog in the house so his size or larger would be the best animal siblings for him. Unfortunately, cats would not be a good fit.Tater is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and ready to melt more hearts! His adoption fee is $340. Story
MEET FRANCO, an adorable but scared almost 2-year-old French Bulldog/possibly Basenji mix in need of a foster or forever home. Franco is currently housed with his sister Brie, who looks a lot like him and is also scared. They can be adopted separately or apart. They weigh about 35 lbs each. (Their paperwork may say shepherd mix but they both have Frenchie ears.) Both of them are timid/scared of new people, so they need adopters who can be patient and let them come out of their shells and bond to you. Franco is cute as a button and a wonderful medium size. He is currently in California, but can be transported to Oregon. Experienced adopters only.
