Story
Meet Henny. Henny is an adorable little 13-pound Chihuahua mix who is truly one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. she is about 4 yrs old. She is kind, gentle, loving, and grateful for every bit of kindness shown to her. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her sweet nature and gentle spirit. Henny came to Tracy’s Paws after struggling to survive on the streets while caring for her three young babies completely on her own. Despite being failed by people, she did the very best she could to protect and care for them. The moment she arrived at Tracy’s Paws, we could see just how special she really is. Henny is the kind of dog who would fit beautifully into almost any home. She gets along well with other dogs, would do fine with respectful children, and has a calm, loving personality that makes her such an easy companion to adore. She is simply a sweet, gentle soul who deserves a safe, loving home and a kind person to finally call her own. Henny tested positive for Chagas disease and has already started treatment. With treatment, Chagas is fully curable, and dogs go on to live long, happy lives. Tracy’s Paws is one of the first rescues to test every dog for Chagas, and we’ve had measurable success with our treatment protocol. We are also committed to educating adopters and the public about Chagas so even more dogs can be helped. Learn more here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas

Henny tested positive for heartworms and has received treatment. This precious girl is ready for the forever home she deserves—one where she will be cherished, spoiled, and treated the way she always should have been. If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance. Whether you're adopting from us or anywhere in the southern states, please familiarize yourself with Chagas disease. It's endemic in the south. Story
Meet Justin, a handsome short-coat Chihuahua mix with a warm brown coat, soulful eyes, and the kind of face that always looks like he’s listening closely to you. At 17 pounds and about 6 years old, Justin is the perfect “small-but-sturdy” sidekick—made for couch snuggles, movie nights, and being your constant little shadow. Justin came from a heartbreaking situation, He was left behind in an apartment with a bunch of other dogs in a hoarding environment, and he’s been starved for attention ever since. In the best way possible, Justin simply cannot get close enough to his person and wants to be right next to you. He’ll let you know how much he needs that connection. He’s affectionate, sweet, and genuinely happiest when he’s included in whatever you’re doing and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Because of what he’s been through, Justin will not do well in a home where people are gone all the time. He’s looking for someone with a lifestyle that allows for steady companionship, the kind of home where he can follow you around, curl up beside you, and finally feel like he belongs. If you’ve been wanting a best buddy who’s always happy to see you and eager to share your everyday life, Justin is your man. Justin is heartworm negative and Chagas negative. If you would like to apply for Justin, you can apply online at tracyspawsrescue.org.
