Story
Lola is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Lola is a 9-year-old sweetheart who’s ready to settle into a calm, loving home where she can soak up all the attention she deserves. She currently lives with two other dogs and does wonderfully with them indoors. Lola is fully housetrained and welcomes new people with a happy, wagging tail—she especially enjoyed all the extra visitors and affection during the holidays! Lola was surrendered due to a change in her family’s work schedule, not through any fault of her own. She’s a laid-back girl who would thrive in a relaxed home, who either has a fenced yard or a family committed to regular walks to help her health. Lola is working on a gradual weight-loss journey, so she’ll need someone who can help her stay active and stick to healthy, portioned meals. Since she’s very food-motivated, structure and exercise will be key to her success. One of Lola’s favorite party tricks is catching treats (but please limit them) tossed gently into the air—she’s always so proud to show it off! With her sweet personality, Lola is ready to be someone’s loyal, loving best friend. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Story
We currently live in FLORIDA! We will transport her to new home. No M&G is possible! She was purchased as a puppy in WI. Charlotte is playful, energetic, loving and well behaved. She loves human interaction and makes a great companion. She is crate trained but does not require crating when left alone. She has never been destructive when left by herself and eagerly awaits her pet owners return. She enjoys her walks and runs at the dog park and is an excellent fetcher. She loves car rides. We are relocating states and wish for Charlotte to return to the midwest. Florida humid sub tropic climate has been hard on Charlotte so we are hoping for a loving family or individual in WI, MN or IL that is searching for a small canine companion. Charlotte is accustomed to a great deal of human interaction daily and being a central part of her owners life since we are retired. She will follow you every where you go and loves to snuggle up and nap next to her owners.
