Lola is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Lola lives with 2 other dogs and does great! She is housetrained, good with other dogs, and would like a relaxed home after being surrendered due to not enough time for her in the home after a job change. We look forward to sharing more about her as she settles into her foster home! Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Story
Rooney is just over 1 year old (she was born on September 16, 2024) and we acquired her from Royal Frenchel Bulldogs out of Rainier, WA. Royal Frenchels are bred to be bonded with their person and Rooney is so sweet and snuggly (she sleeps cuddled right next to you and loves to snuggle into your neck). Rooney loves to play for short bursts and then sleeps. She loves her toys (stuffed animals and chew toys). It would be great if Rooney were an only dog as she will want all the love and attention. She is good with other dogs at the dog park and at doggy daycare. Rooney is house trained and uses our doggy door when she needs to relieve herself. She is adorable and a very unique breed (Royal Frenchel Bulldogs are the only breeder).

Story
Loki is a sweet french bulldog. He's about 8 and a half years old but has been having a rough time over the past couple years. He is my daughter's dog but currently she works full time, is taking classes and is also about to have a baby so since her plate is so full, I am taking him in temporarily until I can hopefully find a loving home for him. He would do best with a person or family without kids or other pets right now mainly because he needs so much attention. He is having issues with his back legs/hips and his feet slide out to the side. I believe since he is having such a hard time getting around, he also is struggling with always making it outside to go potty. So my daughter has been keeping diapers on him for the most part and it has helped but occasionally he also poops in the house. He is a little anxious and hyper when new people or animals come over. I think he would do really well with someone very patient and loving who is able to spend more time with him.
