Lola is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Lola lives with 2 other dogs and does great! She is housetrained, good with other dogs, and would like a relaxed home after being surrendered due to not enough time for her in the home after a job change. We look forward to sharing more about her as she settles into her foster home! Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Jade is an adorable pug mix, estimated to be around 5 years old, who is getting a fresh start after being found as a stray by Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission. She’ll be arriving at our shelter tomorrow, and we’re excited to help her find a loving home as quickly as possible! Because Jade was found as a stray and has not yet arrived in our care, we don’t have any prior history on her. Once she arrives, we will be completing dog, cat, and kid testing to better understand her needs and personality. That said, MADACC has not reported any behavioral concerns, so we’re hopeful that—with proper introductions—Jade will do well in a variety of home environments. ✨ Early applications are now being accepted! Our goal is to keep Jade out of the shelter setting and have approved adopters lined up and ready for her arrival. If you’re looking for a sweet, compact companion and are open to giving a deserving adult dog a chance, Jade could be the perfect match. Story
Nova is a 35lb adult (5yr-ish) French bulldog mix. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and would love to find a forever home. She is still working on her housetraining (great with #1, still working on #2). She walks perfectly on a leash and adores snuggles and couch naps. She loves to show her excitement by wagging her whole body! She came into the rescue with a number of health issues - like most Frenchies - and needs an adopter who understands the financial committments of owning this wonderful, but expensive breed. She had a corneal ulcer (being treated with eye medication), a UTI (treated), unaltered (we fixed her), and with heartworms (she's on the slow kill treatment). Despite all of that, her spirit is amazing - full of love and happiness!! Nova is located in Houston TX and will only be transported upon completed adoption. Her adoption fee is $400. Inquiries will not be responded to unless a completed application has been sent. You can fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. You must fill out all of the blanks in the application - put "n/a" if one question is not applicable to you.
