Hi, my name is Meese! I'm a 6-year-old female mixed breed. The paperwork I was surrendered with lists me as a french bulldog/belgian malinois mix, but my friends at CRHS think my breed is something else. They're not quite sure what I am, but I'm 100% adorable! I am current on my vaccines, spayed, and soon to be microchipped and heartworm tested. 3 words that describe me: Curious, Friendly, Affectionate Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm a spunky girl who's ready for her new start! I have a good amount of energy so I would enjoy long walks or hikes. Once I've had my excercise I love curling up on the couch with my humans. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 7/10 Housetraining Status: I am housetrained, although it may take some time to adjust to the schedule in my new home. I should do well in a home: I will need a home without cats since I am not a fan of them. I lived with a dog in the past so I should do well with dog friends given proper introductions and time to adjust. I should do well with children of all ages. My favorite activities are: I love running around outside and getting love from my humans! Things I need work on are: Basic commands and leash walking Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "She did really well on her day out! She didn’t seem to be nervous about the car ride at all and seemed to enjoy it. While on the trail, she did pull a bit while we were walking. However, when we stopped to take a break and sit, she was very patient while she stayed by my side. We also passed some other dogs on the trail, and she kept to herself and didn’t bark at all. She is also a very sweet girl and enjoys being pet a lot. I loved spending the day with her!" Hi! My name is Melissa! I am a 1 year old Rat Terrier mix. I am microchipped, heartworm tested, spayed, and current on my vaccines. 3 words that describe me: Shy, Affectionate, Curious Things my foster says about me: "Melissa is a really sweet and affectionate dog. She is happiest when she is right next to you or on you! She loves going for walks and investigating everything in the backyard. She is very friendly and accepting of the other dogs in the household, they like to play and snuggle together. She can be shy when meeting new people or big dogs, but given time she will warm up. Despite Melissa's size she is fairly athletic, so she is great at climbing onto chairs if they aren't pushed in." Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10) 5 or 6/10 Housetraining Status: I have been doing really well with my housetraining while in foster! I should do well in a home: I love the other dogs in my foster home, so I should do well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. I have never met a cat before so my humans don’t know how I will be around them. I would do great in homes with children of all ages. My favorite activities are: I like playing with tennis balls and squeaky toys. I also love being with my humans and will never say no to love and pets!
